Toyota makes the best vehicles!
I'm an auto mechanic. I see tons of vehicles in my shop. The least worked on is Toyota by far. So I bought my wife a 2013 Rav 4 XLE in April 2013. We drove the car for 11 years and 125,000 miles. During that time I did tires at 50k, spark plugs, belt and water pump at 60k, front brakes at 75k, rears at 99k. The torque converter developed a shudder at around 105k but it was covered under the bulletin Toyota put out so it cost me nothing. Oil changes were done always at 5k. Also 1 battery was done at like 7 years in. That's all I ever did the car. Never did it have a check engine light and never got stuck. I sold the car April of 2024 and bought my wife a brand new RAV4. She was sad to give up the old car but loves the new one as well.

A FIRST CHOICE FOR SUV ENTRY
This vehicle was a dream come true with all the proper bells and whistles. Long have I dreamed of getting an compact SUV that does not drink gas like the regular SUVs. Toyota has made the right call by redesigning it into a competitive compact crossover, not only in design, but in features and personalization.

New to Toyota
I just purchased a new Rav4 last month and so far I am very happy with this purchase. It is very comfortable and has many great features.
2nd Rav 4... love it... with a few concerns...
I had a 2009 Toyota Rav4 which I really liked... I am one of the few that like the rear swing open door... my wife takes our two golden retrievers with her to work and it was very easy to get the old guy (13 years old, blind, deaf but still loving life) into and out of the back with the wide door and low floor... to jump right to it.... I love the 2013 which I bought in the U.S. (yes I am Canadian, and the Rav4 is made 20 minutes from where I live but I saved almost $7,000 in the U.S.) my concern is the exterior black plastics... when they get dirty and you wash them and then the car dries off, the dirt marks still show !!! has anyone else experienced this? please let me know. thx
Great car for Oregonians-can go anywhere
