Old Friend
Original owner, 204K miles. Have a V-6, Limited -- which is the same engine they are putting in Highlanders now, I believe. I did have to replace the charcoal canister last year ($1200) but otherwise have only changed oil, tires, and battery. My mechanic thinks it will go another $100K miles. At almost 9 years old now, this car has exceeded every expectation I have for it, and probably will cause everything I own after it to not live up to expectations. I have done everything in this car. My kids have grown up in this car. If I had kids of driving age, I would make them drive this car. Best car purchase I have ever made.

Newbie to the SUV world
Even though it has been a short period of time, but after having owned several sedans and mini-vans in the past few years, and having rented other SUVs ocassionally, I can say I am amazed about this car. It is easy and fun to drive, it has most of the features you would ever want, and it is very safe and stable to handle. Finally, visits to my dealer are also fantastic.
steering issues
Bought a new 2007 Toyota RAV4 from a dealer in Wisconsin on Nov 2006 and had a steering recall later. Then about 7 years later, the steering had clicking noise issue when turning at slow speeds, I spent more that $900 to fix it at that time at the dealer. But, in recent years, the steering clicking noise issues come back again, because of the pandemic and I just drive the SUV locally, I did not take it to service. Since I need to drive to DC later this month, I took it to this dealer to fix the steering issue today, this time I spent more than $2200 to fix the steering issue, they spent about 5 hours to fix it, the labor cost is more than $1400. So, since I bought this Toyota SUV, I have spent more than $3000 to fix just the steering issue alone.
