Good little SUV
The Rav4 is a comfortable little SUV. It is not the most powerfull, but it gets great MPG (When driven nicely). Seats are nice and supportive, and the silver/metal looking plastic looks upscale, even if your not sure what it exacly is. The AWD is nice and is needed in the rockies.
318,000 and still going
My Rav has been in 4 major accidents and has over 318,000 miles on it and it is still going stong. I wouldn't part with this car unless you gave me another one...well maybe if you gave me a Highlander.. :-}

Toyota Rav4 The car for you
The Rav4 was always dependable. The gas mileage left a little to the low side. The body was not up to snuff. It got you from point A to point B. The repairs were starting to mount as the car got older. The ride was rough because of the short wheel base.

Best compact SUV I've driven
I have put many miles on the car, and some rugged off roading (quite a bit) I've never been stranded on the side of the road. Horsepower is lacking but the rewards are seen at the gas pump. The five speed manual gear box helps over come the power issue. At 255,000km. I am Getting the best fuel milage yet!! Lets hope for a hybrid! The limited slip differential is a little "week" but as long as the car is still moving it will pull though almost anything.
