Toyota 94 SB 4X4 4cyl
Gutless wonder. Measure 0 to 60 with a calendar. Very reliable. Have had absolutely no trouble since new. Still has FACTORY BATTERY!!! Very good tire life. Precious little room behind eat. Very quiet, almost as quiet as some mid-size sedans. Utilitarian vehicle but nothing more. Good maneuverability.
'94 was a great year!
I bought the 94 pickup new, and at 90K miles, it still looks and runs like it just came from the showroom. Never had a problem with this truck. This was the final model series just before Toyota switched to the Tacoma pickup. I expect this truck to still be going strong 200,000 miles from now!
Wouldn't Trade if for the World
I obtained this vehicle during my 2nd year of college. I was excited when I got it, and haven't stopped loving it. The only bad thing about the vehicle is the gas mileage, but all the positives way outway the one or two negatives(head gasket went out, but was actually on recall, so it didn't cost me a dime). This has been a go anywhere, do anything type of vehicle that has never let me down. I will drive this vehicle till the motor goes out, then I will purchase another motor. Just can't say enough about this vehicle.
the last basic reliable pickup
This truck has been completely reliable, with no frills, no problems, just basic transportation and 900+ pounds cargo carrying. Gas mileage was and still is exactly as stated on the sticker, 22 miles per gallon city, 27 mpg highway with a 100 pound cap/canopy and a bedliner installed.
Still kickin!
When I totaled my Nissan Sentra back in 2001, my mom and step dad gave me his 94 Toyota Pickup. I was told that the truck was in excellent condition and shouldn't have any real problems with it. As always, my parents were right! Here it is 2011 and she is still kickin. No major issues. So far, have only had to replace the battery, starter and thermostat. Has had a small oil leak for several years (which has been unable to be pinpointed). Currently at 240,000 miles. Still averages 24/mpg. I love my little Yota!!!!!!
