Used 2003 Toyota Highlander Fwd 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
Highlander performs
I have enjoyed this car immensely. I have had no repairs, only routine maintenance. It was a good decision to choose this model, but if I had it to do over, I would buy the 6 cylinder. The 4 is just a little too gutless for my taste.
A Best Buy
Never get tired of the cars looks botrh inside and out. A peppy 4cyl good economy. Quality of construction is the highest I have seen through many autos. A nice ride for a SUV with a well designed interior.

fair enough
the exterior looks great but the braking distance and sound insulation could be better.
New Highlander Owner
I don't care for the interior design. Console in the middle of the front seats is a waste of good space. Leave it open and put the cup holders on the doors like they are in the back seats. I've bumped the gear shifter into neutral at least 10 times already, I don't like it where it is in the middle. Better to have put it on the floor where the wasted space is, or back up on the steering column. I wish the gas tank was a little bigger, I have to get gas more frequently now just because it's a smaller tank than I was used to. I do like the way it drives, I feel safer in it than I did in my old car and the exterior design is really nice.
Loving my new suv!!!
The Highlander is a pure crossover suv. It has the body of an suv, but the smooth ride of a car. The Highlander is also $10000 less than the Lexus RX300. I received my suv with a quick order package and extra options for about $24000, which is a bargain.
