DON'T READ THE MANUAL!!!
Overall the look, size and drivability are good. The manual, on the other hand has absolutely no rhyme or reason or smooth transition from one topic or another. Use you tube. The most "scratch my head" design is the the drive mode select switches are flush with the console top. If you rest your arm or reach forward to pick up you drink from the cup holder you have likely accidentally changed your drive mode.

Don’t Do It!
In March 2024, we purchased our GH Platinum. I should mention we currently have a 2017 and 2018 Highlander (we bought them new) that have NEVER had issues. Each of them has over 100K miles and we’ve only had to do routine maintenance. This GH has been a nightmare after 20K miles. To mention a few of the issues: squeaky brakes, car shakes starting at 78mph, the trunk net latch broke, the transmission makes a whirring noise and sounds like a plane landing, Apple CarPlay works/connects about half the time, VERY loud wind noise/whistling from the front passenger side and the driver side mirror clicks when it turns inward. The dealership is simply awful and told me that Toyota is aware of the wind noise issue but they don’t have a fix, so I have to deal with it. They claim not to hear the brakes or transmission. It’s infuriating that we paid more for the GH than any vehicle we’ve ever purchased and it is a piece of junk. We have always been devoted Toyota owners, but this has been the most disappointing car purchase in my life. I’ll be taking my GH to a different dealership with the hope some of these issues can be resolved. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy the GH.

Limited - looks a little cheap on the inside
The inside could be better. Felt removable pads inside of the door handles, flap behind steering wheel looks unfinished. For a "Limited" version I had higher expectations. Overall nice vehicle but some things could be better.

Best SUV I own.
Our family is growing and I had recently 2 years ago had purchase a brand new SUV at Mazda which I had so many issues with given that is was a new car. We really needed a reliable vehicle specially driving around with my toddler and a new baby coming soon I didn’t feel safe. I really loved the Grand Highlander for its reliability safety and so spacious. I love this vehicle it provided us all the extra space we need. The Grand Highlander is so much spacious and bigger but I can still drive it comfortably. It feel super roomy inside and I can fit my mother in laws walker and my toddler stroller in the trunk. The vehicle looks amazing has a great build. I get a lot of compliments.

Toyota can’t supply keys?
Nice vehicle, but Toyota is getting a single star because it ridiculous that a company the size of Toyota can’t supply keys in a timely manner.
