Plastic TIn Can
I bought the 22 corolla cross LE and the 2023 corolla cross hybrid I bought is the same thing except with a hybrid motor. If you like cheap interior plastic wall-to-wall this is the vehicle for you again Jane is plain I got the SE trim the back seat is crammed no power liftgate only option is on the top trim level drives like a hybrid for a couple grand more get the RAV4 hybrid don't waste your money call for the RAV4 hybrid

Nice vehicle
The vehicle is fine if a bare bones hybrid is what you're looking for. My disappointment is with the dealership, not the vehicle.

Nice vehicle, nice price.
The Hybrid is averaging well over 40 MPG. Entertainment interface is robust. Comfy ride and good cargo space. It is meeting all my expectations.
Many issues first year of ownership
Low brake power warning resulting in need for a jumpstart 3 times over first year of ownership and separate occasion where low brake power warning light remained on for over 1 hours. Other issues include: -Groaning/ grinding when reversing sharply/completely to the left (appears resolved because mud was in optional mud flaps that I believe cost $700. Still a manufacturer defect) -Rear doors do not shut properly -Multimedia system randomly disconnects -Squeaky dashboard - intermittent -Vehicle exit assist constantly reengages / annoying beep - Sand in air knob - Analog miles per hour do not match digital miles per hour This is unacceptable for a new car and over the numerous cars I've owned in the past, both new and used, this car is the worst and has the most problems of any. Never buying Toyota again. The whole process from the purchase to dealing with dealership is unacceptable and full of poor customer service. All these problems and that's not to mention the cramped interior, which seems like it wouldn't be an issue if it was actually designed right, which it's not.
