2025 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Pricing
I traded my 2023 Sienna for a Corolla Cross Hybrid
That trade took place three days ago. So, all I really know now is that everything works. More will be coming in the future. UPDATE: Pros: Great mileage, compact, good workmanship, handles well (I raced go karts), small turning radius, stay in lane and auto cruise control works extremely well, driver's seat is well positioned (more leg room for driver and passenger than in the Venza) Cons: Noisy engine under hard excelleration, absolutely no leg room in the back seat (granted I'm 6'3" with long legs), not flat with second row seats folded down and radio/screen is not intuitive

Buy a different toyota
Usually all Toyotas are great but they really missed the mark with this one. Car is extremely small on the inside and has no room at all in the back. If you are planning on putting a car seat in this car you might as well just not buy this car at all. Once you put said car seat in you have to scoot the passenger seat almost all the way up and then nobody can ride upfront. It also feels like Toyota cheaped out on making this car.. everything feels like stiff and a lot of plastic. The truck is so small you can barely fit groceries in the back and I live in a 2 person household! Also if you want to have two drinks up front in the cup holders you will spill every drink because the center console is basically over the cup holders making it extremely difficult to get your drink. Another thing I do not like about this car is the remote start! When you remote start this car and go to get in the car it will tell you to push the break and start button to start driving. Once you do both of those things and try to put the car in reverse it shuts off and tells you that you didn’t push the start button… this is extremely annoying but doesn’t happen all the time. The front doors do not have the little cups where handle would be. This isn’t a big deal but I do find slightly annoying. Lastly where the car is a hybrid if you give it the gas at all it sounds like it is fighting for its life to excel.. especially when going up hill all you hear is the engine trying so hard to go. Very annoying and loud!

Luke-Warmed Over Prius V
Size and mileage nice. Prius V had much more space in the back seat, and thanks to a vertical back end (a la Kia Soul) much more cargo space.

Blown away... but....Confused
I bought a 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid a week ago. Getting a great MPG and a very smooth ride. This is my third toyota hybrid and it never surprises me how their vehicles ALWAYS EXCEEDS what they promise!

Seems like a great car - overpriced
I looked extensively into this car for about 6 months when they were coming out. I thought at the MSRP price it was maybe marginally worth it. I test drove it and it seemed like a great car for someone that doesn't want a giant rav4, but it simply isn't worth the cost. After getting quotes it was $33 to 38k at dealers. Toyota screwed up the pricing big time on it as it basically costs what a rav 4 costs. Simply isn't worth it...needs to be 28 or 29 k OTD max.
