2025 Toyota Camry XSE 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

It is a great car, hybrid makes it awesome value. But- not cheap Interior is Black or Black for most trims.. hen Kia , Hyundai are giving exciting upscale interiors with superior material, Camry is quite behind in that. In xle trip, it has a very ordinary felt like material on the dash. Doesn’t feel good. Hence did not purchase. XSE AWD would be the right one if interior seats were not just black. I got a Subaru Legacy Touring XT instead. Superior drive and very luxurious inside with Nappa Leather in Java Broown color .

My husband and I bought a 2025 Toyota Camry hybrid about a week ago - it is without a doubt a dream machine. Lots of power when you need it, … a smooth and comfortable ride, incredible safety features that anyone would want or need. Great styling (especially with the premium plus package. Couldn’t ask for more. The dealership service is outstanding.

It just makes sense

As I'm nearly pushing 30, I had to upgrade from my fun but aging stick-shift Volkswagen to something more sensible and reliable. Naturally, it made sense to get a Camry. And with the '25s being hybrid only with sharp but not overdone styling, they are better than ever. I got a Reservoir Blue SE with blacked out badges and tinted the windows so it looks...mwah, so good. I am going to miss rowing my own gears and that distinct German car driving feel where it just squats down and tracks dead straight at highway speeds but the new Camry is simply more comfortable, more fuel efficient and safer with the standard suite of driver assistance features. And they're pretty good but not overly intrusive, except when the blind spot monitor goes off when turning in one of 2 turn lanes and there's a car next to me, or the pre-collision warning goes off when going around a curve in a tight residential street with cars parked curbside. I was a diehard driving purist when I was younger, dismissing all these driver assists as "crap that makes drivers more complacent and become more distracted" but on longer trips that adaptive cruise control with the lane tracing assist is so nice to have. You barely have to keep your hands on the wheel, except when passing on/offramps which the LTA will try to follow. Wireless Carplay/Android Auto is an upgrade but sometimes doesn't connect so I'd have to use a cable. Not my biggest gripe with the infotainment system. I'm used to it from my old car. My biggest gripe is the lack of a start-up radio volume setting. So I have to remember to turn the volume down before shutting off the car otherwise I get startled with music blasting at the same volume from when I was jamming on the last drive. Those small complaints are overshadowed by how excellent the car is overall. As long as I drive smoothly at the speed limit on my 30 mile commute, my tank average is between 47-50mpg. I get 60 sometimes on errand runs in town. The standard features on the SE are all upgrades from my old car, it's comfortable and spacious, looks better inside/out, and it should be more reliable. Toyota's hybrid system is perfectly dialed in on these cars, you can barely feel when the engine fires up. Also, it handles winding roads surprisingly well. The electric steering is fast and precise, and while the car does roll a bit (it's a mid-size commuter car of course) the wider tires grip the road pretty well but don't beat you up over bumps and cracks. It just takes corners with confidence. The Camry is still the best mid-size sedan for a reason and the 2025s are better than ever.

Bought the car in February to get away from a terrible 4 Runner. The camry rides well, is not uncomfortable, and who can complain about 47-51 mpg. Ive taken this car on cross country road trips and it performed flawlessly. No issues to complain about.
