The battery gets drained every time!!!
I would think twice before I buy the Camry 2020. My battery gets drained almost every 3 weeks. The dealer say there is no issue with the vehicle. They know what is wrong with the new Camry 2020 but they don't tell us. There is something which drains the battery. I keep bringing my vehicle every time till I get this issue resolved.

Buyer BEWARE!
I have a 2020 Camry SE and since I've had it I have had two main issues. When I get to a steady speed my car acts like it is "out of gear" and jerks. The second is when I start from a stop and push the peddle down like normal the car doesn't respond equal to the pedal. I have to push the pedal to the floor and then it lags for a few seconds then goes into full throttle. I have jokingly said its the all or nothing Camry. Its dangerous and I have pulled out in front of cars with plenty of room to just sit in an intersection as cars barrel down on me just sitting there. I have asked the dealership what is the issue and the only thing they have said is the car is working "as designed." I have filed a complaint with Corp Toyota and it sits at the dealership and they say all seems to be ok. I'm in a 2020 Camry SE rental and it drives perfectly! The service advisor said its a common issue and I should buy a pedal commander to correct the programming issue! Unacceptable! I told them to keep my car until its fixed. We shall see what happens. Toyota seems not to care until someone dies. If they don't fix mine or allow me out of it I will find a good lemon law attorney. Maybe a class action law suit is on order!

Unreliable! So disappointed!!
I'm so disappointed in Toyota. I bought a brand new camry in May 2020 and in sept 2020 the battery turned off completely. After a nightmare with toyota trying to get it towed, the dealership can not find the reason why it's having issues and the only explanation is it had to of been struck by lightning! There was no damage to other cars, my carport, anything! I explained this to Toyota and they told me to contact Toyota directly. Each time I call Toyota, I get the run around and am not able to talk to anyone. This will be my last Toyota and I will make sure everyone I know hears about this experience. I'm so upset!!! What is the point of warranties if when something like this happens with NO evidence of damage, they decide not to cover it! Ridiculous!!

If xse sits more than a few days battery goes dead
I have a sporty camry xse. If it sits for more than a few days the car wont start making it extremely unreliable. My guess is something is draining the battery. Denial by toyota isnt helpful. Its under warranty less than 7k miles. They say battery is fine. Fast forward six months it sat in garage then would not start. Toyota camry 2020 xse has a problem. Denial doesnt help by toyota. Fix it...
The XLE is like stepping into a spaceship cockpit
We were stepping up from a 2003 Camry LE with 136k mi that was starting to need repairs. We originally tried for a '16 or '17 non-smoker just to get a V6 and keep our coveted ignition key, but prices were so ridiculous it made sense to go with new after getting about $5800 off the sticker. As expected, the ignition button is a hassle when trying to use phone, windows or fan with motor off. Also, she tends to keep the fob in her purse, so when I drive and drop her to the storefront, the motor shuts off. All the digital goodies and busy buttons are quite a learning curve. The NASCAR styling had to grow on us for a few years, but we're even starting to appreciate that. Although not having a Spotter, the reduced visual ability of the slantback design makes backup cam and blind spot monitor especially important. After shopping for used camrys thru the holidays, Jan 2, we finally went to test drive a new '20 and discovered contrary to some reviews, there is NO stop/start on the Camry... EVER so far. That was a huge relief. It has many Big Brother "features", fortunately you can shut-off most that you prefer not to use, like cruise control radar (which tracks the car ahead of you from at least 1/4 mile away, so you're constantly slowing down and falling back in traffic as 3 or 4 cars decide to invade that huge gap...Especially when in NY traffic). We were UNimpressed with the SE pkg, About 3 grand for paddle shifters, a spoiler and rough riding suspension?? My GF (and I) preferred to put that money into XLE which included upgrades like keyless entry and heated seats, garage opener, safety monitoring, etc. I consider myself a bit of a driving enthusiast. I tend to manually shift my automatics sometimes, but I'm not a fan of paddle shifters no matter what Jason Statham says. So, it was nice the XLE included manual shift mode on the traditional shifter. The XLE has a nice wheel and tire upgrade over the LE which gives the car a very stable feeling. The XLE suspension is comfortable and seems more than sporty enough for a daily driver without jarring you through every little bump. My main complaint, which I am sure applies across the entire line, is the TERRIBLE turning radius. It's terrible trying to park. The '03 Camry and my '14 Chrysler 200 uses about 20% less space. Maybe that's part of a Nascar design? Also the sunglass compartment seems so cheap, I fear it may just disintegrate. The cruise control radar was a particular puzzle. Owners manual has very convoluted instructions. Basically... Hold the ON button for 3 seconds to disable radar. Why couldn't they just say that? The trunk seems smaller than the 2003, and the opening is definitely smaller, but the folding seats are a great feature, I can even haul a twin size mattress in it! It seems insane that you must have WiFi and the latest iPhone or Android PHONE to REMOTE START your car!? That's a pretty worthless implementation of a feature that just lives on most key fobs WHERE IT SHOULD BE. After your 3 free months of wifi, I doubt it even works unless you pay a monthly fee. Their GPS implementation is about the same, WORTHLESS, it works only thru your phone. Just go buy a TomTom which picks up GPS signals in more areas than your phone will. But overall we do really like and enjoy the car because those features are not something we needed anyway. We were initially disappointed at the lack of V6s available and the cost. But, the new 203HP 4 cyl motor with 8spd trans really surprised us, especially with local MPG. The 4cyl is adequate and smooth IMO. Sport mode really helps. It turned out that the V6 is a bit overpowered and should come with the AWD standard instead of excluding it. Update1: The headlights on this car are amazing! Super bright and right on point. Update2: After a year of mostly local driving we're still satisfied. A bit dissapointed with Hwy MPG, which sits around 27 (our 2014 Chrysler 200 with V6-6spd Auto gets 31.7, yeah exactly! ) I would still definitely recommend the car. It is also nice that it is manufactured mainly in the USA. Update 3: 2 yrs in12k miles. Had a tire puncture. Tires were dang expensive so we lowered the speed rating on the replacement. So far so good. Still running and driving fine. No additional complaints. Still loving the shimmery solar white paint or whatever they call it!

A major disappointment
This is the LE with the convenience package. shinny plastic dashboard reflects every piece of dust, rear window is far too small and side windows as well as windshield give claustrophobic feeling, technology is woefully inadequate, air conditioning is slow to become effective on a hot day, car hesitates when accelerator is pressed hard, front seats are supportive but do not provide a cushy comfort needed for a long drive.

Panasonic Car Battery Last a Little Over 5 Months
The star rating is designated for the car battery and not for the car. The battery only lasted a little over five months on a recently purchased 2020 Toyota Camry before it died. I expected better quality car parts from Toyota
Most comfortable for long distance driving
Toyota made this vehicle a real pleasure to drive. That was very important to me as I do a lot if cross country driving. My previous car a Sonata limited had more features, but was tedious to drive due to it constantly requiring small steering adjustments.. the Camry stays right where you want it and also gives a much smoother ride over bumpy roads...

GRASS IS NOT GREENER HERE!!
I traded in my 2015 Camry (that had no issues and less than 100k miles) for a brand new 2020 Camry as a graduation present to myself. I drove off the lot with 13 miles on it! Within TWO months, the battery randomly died. I know for a fact no lights were left on, no doors left open, nothing to warrant the battery dying. My boyfriend was coming to pick me up from the airport in my car and texted me to say that it was dead... I thought it was a joke until he showed up in HIS car! The dealership did not take me seriously, and laughed and said I must have forgotten I left a light on. It sure was nice to be belittled... NOT. They tested the battery and it came back fine. Then today I go to get in my car, and it will not turn over. My starter is SHOT! In a car with less than 7k miles! Customer service is a JOKE and they do not do ANYTHING to resolve this issue! I wish I had not traded in my car for this piece of crap! I have never had a car with so many issues in such a short time span, or so many people laugh in my face and not take me seriously. I would not recommend this car to anyone! I wish I could get rid of it!!!!

Battery drain is a major problem!
I’ve owned many Toyota’s over the years and this is the first Toyota I traded back into the dealership with less than 500 miles on it because of the battery drain problem that Toyota refuses to acknowledge. Battery went completely dead 3 times and had to be jumped started to get to the dealership and found nothing wrong with the battery. My vehicle sat overnight in all 3 instances. The 2020 Camry as a vehicle is excellent from styling to ride and function but this battery drain issue is major problem that kills the vehicles reliability that Toyota’s are known for.

An upgrade from my 2019 Camry
1,540 miles and 2 weeks in, I am happy with my Camry. If you can afford it, get an XLE or XSE with the V6. You won’t regret it. I previously owned a 2019 Camry XSE with the 4 cylinder. I owned the car for about 8 months. Over the course of those 8 months, I was in the shop 8 times for non-routine maintenance issues. First, the Apple Car Play - 3 times. Then, my WiFi I kept paying for would not work - 2 times. After that, my windows would skip when rolling them up and down in the rain - 1 time. And lastly, after supposedly fixing the window issue, both the driver and passenger window fell out of the track on different days - 2 more times. I drove a total of 23,549 miles when they finally told me on my last visit that they recommend trading it in as a lemon, and so I did. I wanted exactly what I had. White with red leather, but none were available. I drove a Rav4, an Avalon and then my sales woman handed me keys to a grey with black leather 2020 XSE V6. I stepped in, not a fan of the black leather (I bought the Camry for the red leather.) But as soon as I drove it, something was different. It felt like it was a completely different car. Smoother, quieter, more taught feeling; like it was put together with nuts and bolts, not glue. It did not rattle, the wifi worked immediately, the windows rolled down as they should. It was a huge sigh of relief, so I said yes. This car is amazing. The power (I shocked a 5.0 Mustang on the interstate because he couldn’t shake me), the sound that silky smooth V6 makes (I did put a custom exhaust on it), it is SO much quieter on the highway and takes bumps so well and so much better than my 2019. My main gripes, however, remain the same - way too sensitive front and rear automatic emergency braking, the speakers rattle and I don’t get the gas mileage that I should be getting. But every single time I get in and drive, I get a smile or get relaxed. I still cannot believe how different the cars are. The cooled seats work well, as does the AC. Heated seats get toasty, quickly. It does lack a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats, but I rarely have people in my back seat. The trunk is adequate, it definitely could be bigger but I prefer more passenger space over trunk space. The headlights are amazing but the automatic high beams can and will flash people. Adaptive Cruise Control is quick to respond and does tend to overreact when someone pulls in front of you. The 360 camera could be better in terms of resolution, but it does give you much more visibility than no cameras at all and pairing them with the very sensitive parking sensors makes for a good team. The transmission is a bit sketchy some times, as it is not that smooth. I thought the recall would fix the issue but it did not. It is easy to confuse it. Though it is quick to shift and quick to respond; putting it in Sport mode improves the transmission. 1,540 miles and 2 weeks in, I am happy with my Camry. If you can afford it, get an XLE or XSE with the V6. You won’t regret it.

Yet another person with electrical problems
OMG, I wish I had listened to the other reviews I'd seen complaining of battery/electrical issues. I did ask about that when I was shopping, but was told they'd had 3 service bulletins over the summer (bought mine in Oct. 2020) and the problem seemed fixed and they'd make sure mine had the updates. Now my car is dead for the 4th time (first time was in January). It's been in for service two times so far. First time, they said there'd been an additional electrical-related software fix (since Oct.!), and that should cover it. Then about a month later the battery was dead again, and this time they tested the battery and changed that. That was less than 3 weeks ago, and now it's dead again, and I just prepared a "final notice of opportunity to repair," which I will send tomorrow, certified, return receipt requested, a necessary step in my state's lemon law procedures. They get one more chance to make this right. It's too bad because I really do like this car when it's running. But I'm so sick of this happening that I don't think I'll opt for replacement if I do end up pursuing a lemon law complaint. I think I just want a refund and then I'll get something other than this car because Toyota obviously did not do a good job on this vehicle. I probably want to stay away from Toyota, too, from this experience. But all the manufacturers have some cars and some years that weren't good, so that's hard to know. There's so much that's good about this car that it's really unfortunate that it can't be relied upon to start.

Avoid!
If you want a brand new car to die and strand you twice in the first two months go buy a 2020 Toyota Camry. Sure they'll fix it but that's an awesome sign when you're brand new car dies at 2 weeks and 8 weeks. Then you go to pick it up and another electrical problem comes up but it was your misunderstanding on the pickup time, not that there shouldn't be a problem. They admitted it was a lemon but it's still your problem. They will tell you it's a bumper to bumper warranty then when you go in to finance it's actually comprehensive. You'll also go back to correct your finance paperwork a few times due to their error. You will also wait hours for their tow even when reported as a stranded motorist and you'll have to call a few times. So pretty much the employees here will know you by first name before your first 5k service. Good luck buying this car!

Fall in love in the first mile!
My Camry XSE with the V6 handles like a dream. It goes exactly where you point it and stays there. On twisty mountain roads handling is precise and inspires confidence. On the interstate it is as if it were on rails - no drift or correction necessary to stay on course. It is fun, safe, quiet, comfortable and EZ to drive - it makes long drives shorter. The V6 is a masterpiece of engineering - ultra smooth and propels the Camry to 60 in only 5.6 seconds. You could cruise all day at 100 mph - too bad we don't have the autobahn in the USA! The exterior styling is sleek and sporty yet still has that clean Camry look - it's a 301 hp stealth rocket. The cockpit is ergonomic and stylish. Interior materials are pretty upscale. The JBL sound brings every voice and instrument out - even on old recordings via dsp and decompression. Toyota quality is everywhere - no matter how hard you try you will not hear a single rattle. Toyota should advertise a public service message because if you test drive one, you will buy one.
That BOD
Loving the body on the new Camry so sporty and luxe. I just wish the inside paneling wasn’t so plastic and that the media system wasn’t that black iridescent plastic that catches every piece of dust and fingerprint.
Weird Noise when turning.
I bought my 2020 Camry in January, I instantly fell in love and have been very happy with my purchase. However, within 4 months it me owning it, my tire got a knot in it. It was so aggravating trying to get in touch with customer service to try and have it replaced, that I just paid out of pocket (I have tire and wheel coverage). Now, it is making a very faint but weird noise when I am turning, especially when I am in reverse. I’ve treated my car like a baby, haven’t taken it on any bad roads, I don’t speed or act crazy in it, I’ve got my oil changed on time, etc. Has this happened to anyone else? I still love my car, but I’m just confused as to why I am just now hearing this sound. I would give the car 5+ stars, however, Toyota has been very hard to get in contact with.

Brand new car, brand new issues
I expected that when I bought a new car -- especially a Toyota -- I would have carefree driving for at least a few years. I have owned Toyotas for the last three decades and have come to expect quality. However I have had multiple issues since driving off the lot in September 2020 with my new 2020 LE Camry Hyrbid and have had to return to dealerships multiple times for unresolved computer-based issues. Correction: One issue was resolved by disconnecting the feature. One time the car's trunk was accidentally flooded at a dealership, so the liner had to be taken out to allow it to dry. A thin carpet flap that's between the trunk and the back seats flipped up and revealed what I believe to be a piece of black extruded polystyrene (Styrofoam) that came right out and exposed the wiring. I also was greatly disappointed by some of the basics that were missing and/or couldn't be added, e.g. the auto-dimming HomeLink mirror, lighted sun-visor mirrors, and heated exterior mirrors. The glove compartment is designed horizontally, so if it's open and the car moves, everything falls out. And there seems to be less storage space up front than in my old Prius. These may be smaller issues, but the overall experience has left me disappointed with the quality of the car, and am I frustrated with the wasted hours that I have had to invest and still not have the issues resolved. I wish I had purchased another vehicle. More than a year later, I still wish that I had purchased a different vehicle. Unresolved technological issues and features that were on previous cars that are missing and are missed. Just one example, if you want to put the back seats down, you have to release them from the trunk. I have to believe that these are cost-cutting measures. They're also quality-cutting measures.

It's okay but nothing special
The best part of this car is the upgraded handling which was subpar on the previous model years. The 2.5 engines seems louder than before and the new 8 speed transmission sometimes thumps and hesitates. The trunk also seems a little smaller and this car feels like i'm sitting on the ground lower than before.

Pizzaz gone
This 2020 car is a let down from the Camry LE hybrid 2012 that I was previously driving. The exterior lines are pleasing except for the front trim which resembles a baleen whale. At idle, the engine sounds like a 57 Chevy truck. Inside the car the seats are comfortable enough. However, it appears that they did not get a real person to design the interior for driver consideration. For example, driving data, like speed, time lapsed, odometer, etc are either in a small rectangle or hidden by the steering wheel, like the odometer and trip meters. The overhead light Is so dim and misplaced that it is fairly useless for the front seat at night. As far the 2 supposed front seat press-on night accent lights, it is impossible to fumble around with your hand on the ceiling to find the lights at night. The side door pockets are poorly designed and small. Additionally, setting up the audio, phone inputs, and station selection, etc. is cumbersome. The lane change safety feature only works at an accelerated speed, although many lane accidents occur in slower moving situations. The good news is the doors sound sturdy upon closing, not like they are made of tin. Gas mileage is as expected. And resale value is good unless the buyer reads this review.

2020 XLE V6
Had a 2005 previously. Overall they have cut a few corners on the finish inside and out in the 2020. The remote connect quit working after 10 days - dealer says it is a corporate software issue. The 800 customer service phone is a waste of my time before i can reach a human, then is no help. Nobody can tell me when this will be fixed.

I truly love it so much. I do wish that Toyota would have put a CD Player in this New TRD Model Car this year. If possible maybe next year please add a CD Player, Power Passenger Seat, and Heated Mirror's with turn signals on them Please. Overall a Very Very Bad Looking Machine Built For Speed and A Very Outstanding Addition to Toyota's family of new cars. Go Toyota.

Design flaw and mpg 2020 Camry hybrid LE
If you are offered the door protectors, be sure to know that the protector will not protect the most vulnerable part of the door. That part is right next to the door handle where the door is convex, it sticks out. That will hit other things. We had door protectors put on, they do not reach to that point they are about 1 1/2 inches short. They are not worth the $160 we spent for them. There were no apologies or money refunded to us for our complaint. Also we have about 1100 miles on the car. Our mpg is about 42 miles per gallon I don’t know if it will ever go up to 50 miles per gallon. The service people don’t seem to give us a good explanation as to why this is.

I expected more out of a Toyota
I purchased my 2020 Toyota Camry SE in June 2020. The body style is gorgeous and I was impressed with Toyota's record of their vehicles lasting forever. Sadly, my car has been in the shop 7 times. I bought my car for safety and reliability. First, I was driving 70-80 mph from DC to Jacksonville, FL, when the car started having a terrible vibration and the windshield wipers looked like they were going to fly off of the vehicle. I took the car to the dealership 3 times before they could fix the issue. They gave me new wipers on the first visit. Now the car has a bad vibration when idling and pulling off and when I floor it to get out on the highway, it takes a while to pick up speed. You can also hear the engine hesitating. I called corporate and they are working with me, but I am not pleased at all. The dealer tried to have me purchase another SE for $3,500 more. Unacceptable! The car would not reproduce the vibration while idling when I took it in. However, I have had two people riding with me who experienced and verified the vibration. Hopefully, I will be able to return the vehicle and receive a better one. Or, I may just get rid of it and buy a different Make and Model.
Keep your older Camry, there is no comparison.
I traded in a 2007 Camry Hybrid for the 2020 XLE. I LOVED my hybrid, I HATE the new Camry (not a hybrid-they had none available). Headroom is reduced and I actually hit my head getting out of the car. The engine, while it has pick-up is very sluggish when cold and extremely noisy. I never felt like I was driving a 4 cylinder in the hybrid but I certainly do now. The seats, I guess are meant to hug you, but feel too narrow because of how they turn up and while I'm not little, I'm average sized so I can't imagine how a larger person would feel. They moved the button for the heated seats from in front of the under dash storage back to just in front of the console making it so that I have to look down to turn it off and on. The ride is stiff and the low profile tires don't help. While the trunk is larger (its now the same in a hybrid and regular as they moved the battery under the back seats), it isn't as large as you think if you are storing bins as there are plastic guards that narrow the opening all the way back. So far, the gas mileage is extremely disappointing. Should be 31 round town and 40 highway. I've only got 500 miles on the car and with combined, mostly round town driving, I'm getting 20. Even in my 2007 round town I got 28 and the new hybrid says it gets 50 everywhere. I'm told it needs to "break-in" and I should get better mileage after 5,000 miles - yeah, for me that's another 3+ years down the road. Other little features are more cheaply made and some added features are nice, like the back-up camera. Could be me, but I think they moved the mirrors toward the back a bit on the door and I just don't feel like I have a good view of cars coming up next to me, although the mirrors have a blinking light to tell you there is someone next to you. It is easy to drive and handles well, but I would take my 2007 hybrid back in a heartbeat. I wanted to stay with a Camry because of their reliability and I loved my 2007 and they may continue to be really safe but given more time, I would have looked at other cars. Very disappointed. OK, so to update my review - I traded in my 2020 Camry for a 2020 Hybrid and I am much happier. I have gotten used to some of the changes which were annoying at first (smaller seat, position of seat heater buttons and don't need to put large bins in my trunk anymore), those are still the same, but the biggest change is the pick-up. The Hybrid makes ALL the difference in making this car enjoyable. No issues now with hesitation or lack of power when cold. While I'm still not getting 50 mpg, the 34 strictly around town is acceptable. It does increase with highway driving. I don't know how they get mileage, but I wish they'd be more realistic when they post mpg. Plus this car added options, some that should be standard, like lighted visor mirrors! I now have a sun roof and navigation and cooled seats, but the biggest plus is the pick-up which makes this 4 cylinder feel more like a 6. So, don't give up on Camry, just make sure you get the hybrid if you want pick-up.

Sound System, App, and WIFI
I purchase the 2020 Camry XSE 4 cyc in November 2019. The WIFI and remote app stooped working 2 weeks later its now February 2020 and the dealer is still trying to fix it. Also, I have the upgraded sound system which the rare speaker rattles. the dealer told me its the car seat tensions and rare brake light housing. They are still trying to fix this issue. Other than that, the car is great except for the acceleration which needs to be improved. I spent lots of hours reaching out to Toyota. Hopefully, they are able to fix these issues very soon as I am starting to feel buyers remorse. I know these issues are minor but you don't expect this from a Toyota. Update, went to Fitzgerald Toyota and they addressed the WIFI and App issue. They attempted to fix the sound rattle but was not successful. My engine seems to be louder now when warming up. Don’t know the cause but will mention to the dealer.

What an amazing car!!!
Purchased the 2020 Camry TRD and the car is better than I expected. Lots of power, fun to drive and looks amazing! Comfortable, roomy and the interior looks great too. Has all the comforts that anyone can expect from a Toyota, heated seats, automatic head lights, adaptive cruise control and some other modern safety features that you expect in a new car. I'm not sure about the another review on the car but mine came with a cd player and heated side mirrors. I love the car and am glad I was able to get one.

Heartbroken!!!
Face it, the Camry is known as one of the most reliable cars out there. I bought mine (Camry LE) brand new at the dealer at the end of 2020 and got what I thought was a great deal. What I like...handling, features and comfort. What I don't like...acceleration, CVT transmission, stereo. What I hate.... my heater was not working properly so I took it in and was told I had a coolant leak at less then 20200 miles. I was then told it was under the timing cover and they needed parts....I was then told that I have a "POROUS" ENGINE BLOCK!!!!!!! This was exactly one month after paying it off!!! So, it is at the dealership having the engine block replaced under warranty. By the way, maintenance told me that Toyota only does 'short block' replacements. I am so frustrated. So much for Toyota being reliable. The dealer is being OK. They have offered me a solid trade in quote. I would trade it in, but I don't want another Toyota right now, even though I have two others sitting in my driveway. I also don't want another payment.
Just got the car 3 weeks ago
The car only had 1600 mile and it would not start it was park in the garage !!! Had to call a tow truck to come and get it and take it back to the dealer to have it check out !!!!!!! Not a happy customer first time ever buying a Toyota!!!!!
Has Given Me Car Issues
I bought my brand new 2020 Camry September of 2020. It already has been to the dealer more times than a new car should be in the service department for. The battery drains randomly. After several issues with this, the Toyota service department realized that an update to some battery system they have needed to be updated on my cars battery. The update supposedly doesn’t allow the battery to pull excessive power when not needed. Now, I go to put gas in my car that clearly needed gas according to the gas gauge sensor info on the dash. Except my car won’t take Gas. It leaks all the gas out onto the floor as your pumping it and makes the gas pump hose at the gas station stop pumping . My car is now back at the Toyota and they are “trying” to figure out what is wrong and if new car warranty will even cover it. This is my 6th Toyota and the only one I’ve had so many issues with. Thinking their quality is going down hill. Literally two weeks after I traded my 2018 Camry, I received a letter about an engine that catches fire. Really scary to know my last cars engine could have caught on fire. Time to switch to a different car make.

Still a happy customer
I traded my 2018 XSE 4 cylinder in Aug for a 2020 XSE v6. It was an offer I couldn’t refuse a fully loaded Camry with heated and cool seats and a head’s-up display for $31900. I had the car for two weeks and less than 500 miles, and the battery just died for no reason. I contacted roadside assistance, and they were able to get the car started. I took it to the dealership, and they didn’t find any issue. The other problem I have Is the radio reboots randomly for no reason. Overall I am still happy with my purchase, and this is my 5th Camry. From my experience, they are reliable and low maintenance.

2020 Toyota Camry SE
I've owned a beautiful new red Camry SE for two months now, and it's a joy to drive. It has the 8 speed automatic with the sport shift, which allows you to easily downshift going down steep hills to save the brakes. It has excellent acceleration and easily passes cars on two lane roads. The suspension is very firm, so it's a sporty car to drive being able to take sharp curves without slowing down that much. Seats are very comfortable, If it's as reliable as previous Toyota Camrys, I'll be keeping this car a long time! The SE has the blacked out grill so it's much prettier than older Camrys, which were pretty boring looking.

Low clearance and noisy engine noise
I was so disappointed in the new camrys. The body sits too low to the ground and the engine is noisy. I was planning on purchasing another one as I love my 2007 Camry. I guess I will have to look for another make / model. Not all of us want a racing car.

Features
This is my first time owning a toyota. First off, I purchased the Camry xse. For the price and for the sake of trim packages. Toyota could have done better. Things that dont make sense to me.: why have a remote start. To have to start car again because it shuts the car off when you open the door. The XSE should be standard V6. The heated seats are nice but cooled also would have been a plus. Programmable driver seat is another missed added luxury. I could go on and on, however I'll finish on a positive note...nice looking car smooth ride, and great safety features.

America's Best Selling Car For a Reason!
Just picked up a new 2020 Camry XLE from Town and Country Toyota in Charlotte, NC. Coming from a 2010 Camry LE I was very impressed with the safety and comfort upgrades. My old car (which I still own) has about 170,000 miles with the 2.5 4 Cylinder and a 6-Speed Auto and has been bulletproof reliable even though I do abuse it. I frequently go on long cross-country trips so good fuel economy, safety, comfort and tech was important to me moving forward. While cross shopping I decided to go for a fully loaded 4 cylinder XLE this time. My car has the new option package (Driver Assist Package with options). This adds a Heads-up-display, Birds eye camera, Panoramic Sunroof, Ventilated Cooling Front Seats and the upgraded navigation and infotainment package. The package itself is overpriced at $5245 if you pay MSRP. With coronavirus I managed to walk out the door with this one for $34,000 incl. tax and 0% APR financing. These are awesome reliable cars, and yes they aren't the most sporty or exhilarating drive they excel and being dependable, safe transportation. The radar-guided cruise control works excellently even to a stop, however it can be somewhat intrusive on its highest setting. I couldn't recommend them more, if you have to have an SUV like so many do these days go for a RAV4 or a Highlander.

Side airbags a joke
Involved in automobile accident in July when a driver ran a stop sign and plowed into the passenger door with her 2010 Toyota Camry. This caused over $10,000 damage to my 2020 Camry XSE. I believe if the airbags had deployed I would not have injured my right arm and shoulder as bad. I have called Toyota twice with concerns about the airbags not deploying and have yet to receive a call back. This is my third Camry and may be my last as Customer Service is apparently no longer a service provided by Toyota!

Owner of Camry TRD
I've owned the 2020 Camry TRD now for about 10 months now, with ~10k miles on it. When I went shopping for a vehicle I was coming from a 2014 Honda Accord Sport. Exterior: I already knew I wanted the new 8th gen Camry style, because I've seen it on the roads and have done some google image searches. I needed a sedan because I drive family and friends for outings alot, and also I live in a urban area where passenger space/cargo space needs to be evenly spacious. I had the dealer show me the difference between the LE, SE, XSE and the TRD side by side. And although I liked the SE body styling, I didn't like that the grille was unpainted black. I loved the XSE headlights and taillights, however the diffusers, side skirts and the weird split spoiler on the TRD sold me right away. Interior: The interior of all the Camry's are pretty much the same. If you're going for the leatherette interior the biggest difference with the TRD is that it has red trimmings and an embossed lettering on the front head rest. Otherwise it's the same. Apple CarPlay was a huge plus for me, and a great upgrade from the Accord I had. The TRD was also the cheapest option to grab a V6 engine. I understand that some people thing the V6 might be too powerful for a everyday driver. But I say this with absolute certainty , there's no beating out that extra oomph when you need it. The plastics interior were also very clean and had great angles to them. On Road Review: Honestly, from driving a Manual Accord to a Auto Camry, the acceleration obviously was totally different. The Camry has a ever slight lurch from 1st to 2nd gear but coming down gears are smoooooth. The steering is tighter than most sedans (which I like). I can't say much about the suspension because it's been tuned out, so if you're uncomfortable with a slightly rougher ride, I'd go with a SE or XSE. Also just as an observation from somebody who's owned vehicles that have low profile tires; these painted black rims + all season Michelins can REALLY take on the roads. And where I'm from in New York, there are potholes EVERYWHERE. I'm extremely impressed that despite blowing one of my front tires at around ~6500mi, there were no rim damage, as opposed to my Accord rims, they were bent for days. I maintain my vehicles, oil changing every 4000mi or so. And so far, I've had no issues with the Camry. Now there are a slight few cons, but only if you are bothered by them, not me. During high speed driving 70-80mph, you can seriously hear the sounds of the wind coming through the doorways. Fortunately I play music so I don't hear this often but it IS noticeable. When it rains however, the water hitting the side skirts are extremely loud, very noticeable. It can become annoying if you're driving semi long distance trips in a downpour. The safety features, such as lane assists are pretty sensitive. It would be wise to only turn them on ONLY during long distance road trips, in case you ever get too exhausted (knock on wood). Otherwise, there's nothing much else. I've read plenty of reviews about the sunglass holder being too cheap, and how the infotainment system is alittle bit cumbersome. But let's be real here, for 31,500 it's not exactly a luxury vehicle. $30k+ vehicles are mid range cost vehicles, and honestly comparing the Camry to most other sedans, I'd give this car a good 5/5 rating. I highly recommend this vehicle to starting drivers, for small families as well as daily commuters who carpool. Excellent vehicle to travel in, and it looks amazing. Can't wait to own this baby for a long long time.

Brakes
My first Toyota camry SE 2020. The finishing of the dashboard materials so cheap and dust borrow... The front bumper have big gaps so all the rocks and dirt go directly to the radiator... The most and BIG minus of the car is the BRAKES! they just not there so bad brakes have take much more space gap from the car ahead of me!!! The car just not stopping!!!! Not recommend this car especially for the price they asking and the features you get! Can find cheaper car with more features and better brakes!!!

Camry vs.Altima
After a lot of internet research I had it narrowed down to a CamryLE and an Altima SR. I did the Altima SR test drive first and it was horrible there was a rumbling sensation from the drivers seat and the passenger seat so I went back and the the salesman he advised me to take a different car so I took the S for a ride and the same sensation was there so that eliminated Nissan. I then went to Toyota and test drive the LE and it was an amazing ride ( I took them both on Rt 37 in Tom's River, same road) yes you might get more safety features on the Altima but if the quality of a ride is not there what's the point. I have owned an Altima S for the past 10 yrs and always hated the ride but I never had any kind of mechanical problems and it now has 183,000 miles. I bought the Camry at a great price and I am overjoyed with my selection.

New car
XSE has all the bells and whistles. Heated and cooled seats. Only thing it’s missing is programmable driver seat positions.
No comfort
I have had the 2020 Camry for two days and hate it!! This is the second Camry I have owned and completely regret buying this. My back hurts every time I drive it. My head touches the visor if I lean forward with the seat in the lowest position. Very cramped on the passenger side as well.

Wind storm
Very loud wind and road noise coming near right door , had it back to dealer and they said can’t do anything about it , Toyota knows there’s a problem and won’t fix it , I’ll never buy a Toyota again
Not the Toyota promise that was made to me
This vehicle is not the reliable vehicle that I have always heard about. This is the worst new car purchase I have made. In one year I have had the window get stuck rolled down, the blower motor squeal at me, replaced the tires and now have a constant vibration in the front end that is supposedly a "normal condition of the vehicle". I have had it to the dealer several times, before switching to another servicing dealer where the situation has still not been resolved. I drive consistently on the highway as an outside sales representative and the constant vibration at high speeds is maddening. Over $1,000 for tires after one year due to "cupping" but the vibration is normal. Toyota needs to do better. This vehicle has been in the shop for at least two weeks in the last three months to identify this issue and it has still not been reconciled.

feeling disappointed.
We end up with the Camry comparing with Optima. Went with Camry because sales guy was a friend (I know) and we've been a Toyota family for the last 11 car. In my travel, I drive Optima. Clearly, Camry falls short of Optima in many way. The car is not quiet, people on the phone keeps telling me the background/car noise is loud. the lan assist is down right dangerous. Optima almost drive it self on the highway. Sound system on LE is subpar. Sound control requires 2 hand! Optima can do with just one. Engine noise from the ground is pronounce.

Display electronics not up to common usability sta
The display lacks some basic features such as hands free door unlock, hands free ignition, side cameras, turn indicator displayed on door mirrors, and a list of display features. My 2016 Subaru and my sons 2013 Honda Accord. The operating manual makes it hard to use. Again compare other cars and models. Yes I know higher end packages have most display issues solved. THE MISSING FEATURES SHOULD BE INCLUDED AS STANDARD FEATURES. I was amazed to learn that GPS software must be purchased via the web and applications necessaries to enable the GPS. The driving and handling are pretty good. Would I buy another Camry? NO. The Toyota financing puts their interest rate at about 8% which seems rather high when compared to other brands. Again buy another Camry LE; definitely NO!

excellent car
I bought this car for my wife and she is now deceased. It has been an excellent car.
Problem due to memory lost codes
I have 2020 camry for 2 years and 9 months. There was minor problem about comfortable when driving on rough road but I accepted. After 2 years and 9 months suddenly I could not start in the morning and I have to jump start. It happened 4 days in a roll. I went to Toyota service for checking and it had something caused battery leaked over night. They reprogramed (they called updating but code was latest already) the codes and problem went away. This make me concern because after the warrantee expired I will face this losing codes problem again and again.

2020 Camry buyer
Picked up a 2020 Camry LE in silver a few weeks back. I simply couldn’t be happier with the car. Everything from comfort to smoothness and reliability is unmatched. CarPlay is fantastic and the Bluetooth system works flawlessly. Truly is fun to drive and I catch myself wanting to drive it every day even when I don’t need to go anywhere.
Camry SXE
As Toyota lovers, owning many of them since 1980, of course we looked to Toyota for our new vehicle. However, we had looked at other car companies, but none compare to the quality, reliability, comfort and stylish design of the Toyota Camry. When we saw the red XSE, we fell in love. And we are not disappointed. Great ride, easy handling, quiet interior and lots of safety features, we are extremely happy with our choice.
