Toyota makes the money on Faulty Keys
The Keys are made so flimsy and thin plastic that they break easily (Both of mine broke) turning on, and the dealer wants $350 ea. for new ones. I got 25-26 mpg on my 1999 Toyota Camry (4 speed) and I now get 20-21 mpg on my 2017 (6 speed). Glove compartment design is small and flat on bottom things keep falling out when you open it. They should have had some dish or slant back. I was sold on Toyota quality but have lost mine- waiting for next surprise.

Tall people read this before you buy
I always read reviews before I buy a car and that practice has always served me well. But I wish to goodness I had found a review containing the information I am about to tell you: Before you go buy a Camry, you need to know what I found out the hard way: it’s built for short people. That’s all there is to it. There’s nothing you can do about it. If you are tall like me, just don’t buy this car. Resale value and reliability and safety rating don’t make any difference if you cannot comfortably fit in the car. I am 6’1”. I test drove this car before I bought it but I guess I didn’t test it enough because once I had spent a few weeks with it, I realized I had made a mistake. My seat is all the way back. So far back that I can’t reach the steering wheel even when it is fully telescoped out. And even still, I have to slightly hold my leg up off of the gas pedal because my legs are too long to comfortably fit on the floorboard. My right knee occasionally bumps into the shift knob. I haven’t bumped it out of gear while driving, but I expect it will happen sooner or later. Unless I end up selling it. I’ve only put about 4000 miles on this car but I think I’m going to have to get rid of it. It’s just built for midgets. And those seats! Hard as a concrete city park bench :(. The suspension is rough with a go-cart feel, but everything is these days— but when you’re sitting on craptastically hard seats, bashing down the road, hunching over to reach the steering wheel while slightly holding your right leg off the accelerator, you’ll recite a few choice four letter words every once in a while, guaranteed. Time to take advantage of that resale value!

Can you hear me now?
This is my 3rd Toyota Camry. I cannot hear myself think in this car while driving on the highway or interstate. I gave Bluetooth a bad rating because I can't hear and people can't hear me. I've never heard such road noise even while riding in much cheaper cars! My 1st two Camry's were so quiet. I had an 18 year old Camry that was MUCH quieter than the one I have now. I am disappointed I did not test drive this on an interstate but I never dreamed Toyota quality would decline this much. The change holder won't last a year. It is so cheaply made (material and design). Oh what a feeling! I'm stuck with this car that sounds like I'm in a wind tunnel.

NEVER BUY A TOYOTA CAMRY111
Rides like a very old truck. Every single bump on the highway is felt, no matter how small the bump is. This is my 3rd Toyota. My first two toyotas were very comfortable riding cars. One had 189,00 miles when I sold it. The second one had 198,000 miles when sold. I am so disappointed in this 2017 Toyota. I DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM BUYING A TOYOTA CAMRY!!!! I've had the car for 9 months now - I hate driving it. Im stuck with this horrible, horrible car!!!! I can't imagine how much worse it's going to get as it ages. If I could get rid of it, I would!
