Last Toyota you will own
I bought Toyota Camry hybrid le 3 months ago. I drive 140 mile round trip to work. Gas mileage started out around 50 MPG. @ or around 3000 miles MPG drop 47 to 42.. @9300 miles after sitting in the driveway for only 9 hour I returned to a total dead car no power at all. NONE... Had to use key to open doors and trunk . Called Toyota road side services. didn't get a eta for tow truck. Took 5 hours. Called Toyota service at dealership at 7am was told it could be jumped started only to load on truck and never try to drive it. Now hear this I ride to dealership with tow truck driver. Waiting for over 5 hours so they can charge and test car wouldn't let me use loner. Only to have car returned back with new programed due to 100,000 other customer complaints for the same issues and now my new MPG IS 25 TO 32. I plan to file a law suit Monday morning. Oh and the car is slower than crap now also

Buy the Accord Hybrid
I bought the Camry XLE hybrid half a year ago because the Accord had a single flaw which was a deal breaker for me: I have long legs and the center console and starter button intruded into the right leg space and touched my knee. A very odd ergonomic oversight by Honda that others have commented on also. Other Hondas dont have this issue. Otherwise, the Accord is better, which is also what most car magazines say. Here is the good and the bad about the Camry XLE hybrid: Good: quiet ride, good responsive powertrain, averaging over 50 mpg, surprisingly good handling with nicely weighted precise steering. Bad: The ABS pump makes bizarre groaning noises for several seconds when opening the car. It often does that also while driving. The dealer told me this is normal and blew me off even though three other hybrid Camrys i drove (during the test drives and one from a friend) dont do this. What is also really annoying is the cheap hard plastic everywhere even in XLE trim that cause rattles and buzzes. Every time there is bump in the road there are rattles from the door panels, glove box, and other places. This not good in a car with only 5K miles on it. My 14 year old Honda CRV has fewer rattles. In sum, if you are looking for a pleasant roomy four door hybrid and you can sit comfortably in the Accord, go for it. The interior in the Accord is nicer with a better quality feel.

Gas mileage is amazing!
I recently bought this car and couldn't be happier. The ride is buttery smooth and amazingly quiet. The upgraded sound is surprisingly sharp...and did I mention that gas mileage!

Love it!
This is a safe car. The blind spot monitor, lane departure, rear oncoming alert features are great. It will be a great day when all cars have them. More comfortable seats and smoother ride than the LE. Quiet ride. Not as many "stash places" as our Prius. Love the hands free voice command feature also much safer. We won't be as tired at the end of our longer trips. I also think it's a very nice looking car. FYI the steering wheel covering is not leather as advertised.
FIRE!!!
The trunk wires shorted out in my new Camry. Toyota has changed their story 3 different times now and are refusing to fix the damage done to the car saying "it's inconclusive". Something fishy is going on and I believe they are trying to hide the fact there is a problem as long as possible so they don't have to pay to fix thousands of cars. Don't bother with this car or this company for that matter.
