Used 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Best Car We've Ever Owned
Wonderful car. Hybrid/Gas transition smooth as can be. Exceeds EPA mpg rating especially in highway driving where we typically get over 50 mpg. Getting 38 mpg overall since owning. All controls and instrumentation are intuitive and simple to use. Only problem we had was a persistent rattle from the rear seat belt connector which the dealer diagnosed and fixed under warranty. We added Weathertech floormats to protect the car because we live in a climate with harsh winters.

Best car I ever purchased.
My new 2016 Camry XLE Hybrid so far is the best car that I have ever owned. I have owned many cars but this is the smoothest riding, and best mileage of any car I have owned. The navigation system is great. It even shows the speed limit and street to turn on below the speedometer. All of the controls are well positioned. I owned a 2012 Camry LE and this new 2016 Camry XLE Hybrid has a much quieter ride and improved handling. Love this car. You really need to test drive one.

my Camry XLE Hybrid - great performance, pizzazz!
The Camry XLEs have many levels, with "technology package", without. I didn't need all those bells, whistles of land change warnings, blind spot warnings, have driven many hundred thousand miles with no incident. So got the XLE pkg with Bluetooth, all leather, navigation (but will use my Google maps phone, mostly), like the back- up camera which is now standard. No moonroof. Got a good price at $27,100. The hybrid has good power, the battery plus the V4 engine is like a V6. Very good acceleration! Love to drive it! ROAD HOLDING IS EXCELLENT! ( not sure why it shows up in " worst category?!) Have only had it for a month. Have now had it for a year, really enjoy driving it. Use economy power on back roads to maximize gas efficiency, turn off for highway. When I have lots of short trips around town, overall mpg is 36 (starting it uses gas, then only drive for 1-2. Miles). Can get over 50 mph on highway! So overall getting 40 mpg. I love driving it!

Fantastic used car buy
I bought a 2015 Camry Hybrid XLE, after driving a 2009 Prius III for 10 years. It was a huge step in every way except mileage of course, which is still very good. Even with a sunroof, I can adjust the electric seat to fit my 6'1" height. The drivetrain is smooth as silk, like the Prius, but quieter than my old Prius, at least in this XLE trim. I don't even hear the engine under normal acceleration. The ride is a good balance between control and comfort. Visibility outwards is far better than Kia/Hyundai of recent design. The Entune system with JBL is easy enough to learn to use. I literally only have one regret - I could lower the back seats on my Prius and fit a bicycle or other large item in the back. On this car, there is a structural "wall" with only a small pass-through, limiting utility a bit. I was also able to put a trailer hitch on my Prius for a bike-rack, but I looked under the Camry Hybrid, and that does not seem to be an option, so if you need more than a cars utility, maybe opt for the Prius or Rav4. If you can live with a surprisingly affordable sedan, this one is a steal as a used car, and not all that bad new either. Update after 6 months: Other than replacing a loose driving light at the dealership (was loose when I bought it) this car has been flawless. Took it on a 1000 mile vacation trip and it cruised at 70-80 mph and got 39-40 mpg hwy even with A/C, which is higher than EPA rating. Update after 2.5 years and 25,000 miles driving (now has 45,000 miles on it): I haven't had any problems at all with this car, and average around 38 mpg combined. It uses synthetic oil which only needs changing every 10,00 miles per the service manual. The newer version of this car gets 50 mpg, so new or used, I recommend this car.

Best car ever!
Near perfect. No room for big dogs and road noise on the highway was my only issue. Should have bought an XLE, they have more insulation for a quieter ride.
