Used 2013 Toyota Camry Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Best car ever
Bought a 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE brand new. It was shipped from the production facility in Kentucky to Alberta. Drove this car in hot summers and bitterly cold winters; it always started and drove quite nice. It is silver, and it still looks brand new after using it for 10 years. Only thing that stopped working after 10 years was the up/down button for the sunroof. Maintenance/service bills were quite low and reasonable. Only downfall is that it took a while to warm up in really cold weather, and the AC on hot days sometimes drained the battery. The only reason I sold it after 10 years is that I do not want to replace the hybrid battery when it goes. In Alberta (Canada), it costs approximately $4,800 for a new hybrid battery to be installed at a dealership. Anyone who likes efficient vehicles, try a hybrid rather than a pure EV such as a Tesla. Hybrids are very affordable, reliable, and inexpensive to maintain (unless you need a new hybrid battery).

12 years of Camry Hybrid ownership……
I am a fan. Almost 180,000 miles. Original brakes still at 70% Original battery, both main battery and 12v battery in the trunk. Mileage 40-42 mpg average. The only complaint is the information LCD screen is getting harder to see. I think it’s a backlight issue which doesn’t seem to be solvable. It’s only an issue during bright sunny days. It’s been a great car. XLE with sunroof, upgraded stereo, heated seats, power adjustable passenger seat as well as drivers seat. I just so wish there was a station wagon version of this car.

Comfort in a Camry
Great comfortable dependable car. Never a single problem mechanically or otherwise. I can't say enough good things about this car.

I love my 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid!
This is one of the best cars I've ever had and I'm 71. (My prior "best car" was a Toyota Camry also) I'm planning on keeping this car for as long as possible! I have not had any issues since I bought it 6 years ago. I have 111,000 miles to date. I get the oil changed regularly, brakes, etc. as recommended in the manual and that's it. It is so easy to drive and very maneuverable. Gas mileage is exceptional, about 38 mpg. I also like I would definitely purchase another Toyota Camry hybrid in the future.

I had wrote a previous review which i like to update. HERE IS A WARNING ON KEYLESS IGNITIONS.. I went to a restaurant and parked my camry. i was distract, i thought my car was off , the lights and the engine was off. 1.5 hrs later i returned to my camry to find the lights on and the engine running. if this had been in my garage i could have died from carbon monixide poising.. the engine goes on when the battery runs down. this is scary and a feature that has to be recitified. they were 4 deaths in palm beach cty from this from a gasoline engine lexus.so a hybrid could be worse. make sure you button to the ignition is off.the car recoginizes the wireless key.it doenot dissengage when leaving
