Used 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Limited 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT) Consumer Reviews
Very happy with this product. A reasonable price p
Seats were hard, ride was very stiff, road noise was loud, engine was very weak and noisy. This car is not the comfortable car it used to be. Would not consider after test drive. Toyota can do so much better.

Is there a Camalon in your future?
A wonderful, not very well selling, large sedan with good performance and excellent gas mileage, but it lacks many features for Toyota’s flagship—fog lamps, puddle lights, power folding mirrors, rain sensing wipers, and Safety Sense 2.0 that even lowly Toyota’s have. Unfortunately, the time has come for Toyota to put the Avalon to rest like most of its elderly owners (myself included) will be doing in 10 years or so. The Camry is still selling well for a sedan, but a better option, in my opinion, is for Toyota to replace both and build one super sedan in different iterations for the racer, realtor, and retiree. May I suggest the Camalon? In the meantime, I will enjoy every comfortable mile while passing gas station after gas station in style. Update: After 9,000 miles I’m in a love/not so much love relationship with my Avalon. I love the gas mileage (42.6 mpg) average, ride, comfort, and tech. I’m not in love with the fact of no AWD was available. I’m thinking of putting on some Michelin Cross Climate+ tires to vastly improve foul weather performance. The Bridgestone OEM tires are horrible on wet and slick pavements, albeit great for gas mileage. However, to be honest, I’m thinking of buying a 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Platinum after reading all the rave reviews. The Highlander has everything the Avalon is lacking and more, especially AWD, and Safety Sense 2.0, which the Avalon should have had at the getgo. I’ll keep you updated. Update 2: The Avalon is now approaching 11,000 trouble free miles. However, the blower motor has been making an intermittent noise as if it was rubbing against something, or the bearing is going. I checked an online forum suggesting the cabin air filter might be the culprit if the filter has recently been replaced. Voila, noise gone after reinserting the filter, but sadly the noise is coming back after several weeks, albeit not as loud. Time will tell if a trip to the dealership will be necessary. As concerns the prospect of getting a Highlander, the upcoming Venza seems like a better fit for me now. I’ll have to test drive both to see what’s the best fit.

Best Car I have ever owned
This car is comfortable and amazing. We have owned many cars over the last 30 years of our marriage including an electronically troubled Mercedes but the Avalon is way nicer. We had a Prius that performed flawlessly for 11 years before upgrading to a Camry Hybrid that performed flawlessly for the last 6 years and counting. Our 2016 Avalon has had zero issues in 3 years of driving. I have major back problems but the seats are so adjustable that I can drive for hours without discomfort. The electronics and safety features make me feel confident about my 83 year old mother-in-law driving it, that she will not get in trouble. We actually average about 36-39 mpg which is less than stated. My favorite part about the car is the blue tooth cell phone integration with the car. The sound quality is phenomenal where the caller can hear anyone in the car clearly when speaking in a normal voice. My 05 prius callers did not always hear the driver clearly. My 2013 Camry callers heard the driver very clearly and no one else unless they spoke loudly. My cousin with a 100k Tesla has a phone clarity that is garbage compared to this car. Fit and finish is well done. I wish they had a pass through that would take a snow board or two from the trunk to the interior of the car.
