2025 Tesla Model 3 Consumer Reviews

Lovely to drive but buyers beware
I was in love with my Tesla until I scratched the bumper. The insurance is terrible. My car has been in the shop since 8/30/24 - it’s now 9/1924, with no word at all from their insurance - it took more than 10 Days for them to agree to a rental, and that took me going into the showroom and almost crying, and that is only for 30 days. My car has been in the shop now for 3 weeks with no communication. There isn’t a person to talk to, they don’t respond to daily emails or even me sending the estimate for repairs in myself. The body shop said this is normal for Tesla. Apparently other regular insurances are way more on Teslas given their delay on sending and the expense of their parts. Don’t do it- buy something else!

2024 Improvements Tip the Scale
We’ve been simultaneously in awe of, and skeptical of Tesla for years. Awesome sales, and the growing sense that we are missing out on something on one hand. Risks of a new manufacturer, personality and politics in another. We recently took ownership of a 3LR and are thoroughly enjoying the revolutionary approach to driving, design, safety, and technology. There is definitely a visionary “tech/transportation” statement being channeled; ie: minimalism, programmable horn (which includes an extensive range of human flatulency), a light show replete with fanfare crescendos, (and the car’s transformation into a virtual firework), extensive gaming options, and advanced streaming support…as well as way-too-much-power, tight handling and a quiet comfortable cabin. “Nerd,” in a good way, keeps coming to mind as my own inner nerd is activated and inspired. One begins to think differently behind the wheel of a Tesla. It IS paradigm shifting, and it feels ok. The updates for 2024 propelled us. The other hand can sit back and ponder judgement. Which single automotive company has done more to eliminate ICE exhaust poisons? Look around…Teslas are everywhere. Is Tesla a risky venture? No. I know there are people I will be at odds with. I am related to many. I hope by leaning-in we build connections that are not dependent upon a political litmus.

Not Great
Car is quick but the styling both in and out is very bland and boring. Build quality is sketchy and the massive touch screen detracts from the interior. Next EV will be something with more style and comfort

Good vehicle with a few negatives
Purchased new March 2023. After driving 8,500 miles. This is my favorite car I've ever owned. Being able to charge at home is a definite bonus and money saver. Great acceleration in the RWD model is impressive. The only negatives is the real world driving range is not what is advertised. When using cruise control the car will break hard at times for no apparent reason. If your able to charge at home or work place I would recommend. Supercharger will cost you about $18.00 +/-

The Absolute Best Daily Driver I Have Ever Owned
Quiet, Smooth, Comfortable, Powerful, Accurate. In regard to its design and intended purpose, this car is a game-changer. It feels leap years ahead of other modern cars. You are spoiled by convenience safety and tech features in such an integrated and thoughtful way. It just does all the things you take for granted so well. You only notice when you jump into another vehicle and basic everyday maneuvers seem difficult all of the sudden. From leaving the house first thing in the morning, to executing my 2 hr commute, to getting back home calm and relaxed (for the first time ever), this car is truly remarkable. Just do a demo drive and decide for yourself. You truly have nothing to lose, but an unnecessary reliance on gas. It’s just the best tool for my long stressful commute, hands down, no contest, it’s not even close. I couldn’t be happier with it so far. Final thoughts are the base sound system sounds excellent. There’s plenty of power by choosing the rear wheel drive base trim, and it’s so quick quiet and comfortable in the cabin, I just don’t want to get out of the car whenever I get where I’m going. The out the door price/cost was relatively low for how good this vehicle really is.
