Used 2003 Subaru Outback Consumer Reviews
2003 Subaru Outback Limited Manual
Great car - but don't get the manual or try it out for a while first around town. The accelerator has a dead zone at low rpms making it a terrible car to try and drive at slower speeds where you are slowing and sppeding up...very jerky. Drivers side window has bad wind noise - 2 trips to dealer and still terrible. can be fixed by quickly tapping the window down (~1/8 inch)
10 years with subaru
I purchased my first subaru 1993, Loyale front wheel drive wagon. I am on my fourth Subaru and I am very satisfied. I have never been disappointed. the interior comfort for long term and short trips has always been pleasant. I have never had any discomfort. I took my first Loyale to Quebec City and back with my family. everyone was comfortable. Outside of normal maintanence, I have never had any major problems.

Great handling, good ride. I like everything about it except that it seems it sometimes takes too long to shift from 2nd to 3rd gear.
My Green Bean
It's my first Subaru and hopefully not my last - we love our Green LL Bean (aka the Green Bean) - Our Subaru has an excellent highway ride and comfortable seating. However, the V6 Edition needs a little more power and could use some work on the handling maybe Subaru could borrow the suspension from the WRX.
