03 manual wagon
A fun car, with better than quoted fuel economy ( 23-24 mpg generally) very comfortable drive.
I love this car but never fails to let me down :(
I’ve owned two of these cars and they both took a turn for the worst after two years of having them. After 100000 miles I’ve had to change the headgasket radiator thermostat anything to make is stop overheating and it just keeps overheating and my machanic can’t seem to figure out why I’m so over this car!

Another good Subaru
I am generally happy with this car. It gives me the cargo capacity that I need and is also useful as a passenger car. My car is a 4-cylinder and it seems a little weak on acceleration and going up hills. This can be particularly annoying when trying to merge onto the highway. Probably the 6-cylinder engine is best on this vehicle.
Great Car
Have had the car for about a year now, and other than gas, the only expenses have been for the regular oil changes. Incredibly reliable.
My 3rd Subaru, with more to come!
I'm more into function, than form. This car is the best I've owned. AWD is great ALL the time, not just in snow. Safety rating is comparable to Volvo, for thousands less. My wife drives our '96 O/B with 130k...still as good as it was when we bought it 6 years ago. I can't imagine driving anything else.
