Exceeded my expectations

I have only owned this car a week but it has exceeded my expectations. I chose the Limited and highly recommend this indulgence. The leather, BSD, navigation, adaptive cc, x-mode, Eyesight, and on and on. Love it. I have no regrets!

Our new Subaru Crosstrek is the best car my wife and I have ever owned. It is roomy inside and very comfortable. The seats and sound system are great. The modern digital apps and driver assists are a real 21st century trip, yet simple enough for old folks like us to master. The ride is smooth and peppy. It tracks straight as a bullet, and has nice ground clearance. I am delighted with this wonderful little SUV. We have had some heavy rains, and it is a wonderful bad weather car, handling slick, puddled roads masterfully.

If you’re looking for a practical, durable car you can use in virtually any weather, this is the answer. The AWD system is fantastic, and if you get at least the premium trim, you get all the cold weather goodies like heated seats, windshield wiper de-icer, and heated mirrors. It’s not the fastest, but the new 2.5 engine puts it at least on par with competitors. I wouldn’t even consider the base 2.0. It’s not the most luxurious, but the materials feel nice and it’s all about durability. There’s a certain charm to it. The space with the back seats down is excellent for this size. I’ve put a large sized, full suspension mountain bike back there with no issues (laying down of course). Lots of people complain about the base stereo, but I’ve found it to be so much better than Ford’s newer Sync systems. The optional stereo upgrades sound even better. Fuel mileage is excellent, the average for me has been 30 with a mix of city and highway. Another bonus is that I’ve never had a bad experience with Subaru’s service. The one by me regularly has owner’s events and really treats you like family. They also offer a legitimate full coffee and snack bar for free while you’re waiting.

I love my Crosstrek 4 door SUV AWD! It handles well in any weather and even on gravel roads. I'm so pleased with the smooth ride and comfortable interior.

We bought a loaded Crosstrek Sport in the amazing Plasma Yellow a few weeks ago. Love it! Super nice driving experience. Smooth and plenty of power. The color rocks, though not all my friends and family agree at first glance. I’m all about being unique. Drives great, nice features, smart look and feel. I moved away from a Mini Countryman and kind of miss the slightly more luxury feel of my last few European vehicles. I’m driving this one for a few years, and will see if I stay a fan. So far, good experience, but still feels like a step down, especially the interior. That aside, which is more my own experience, it’s a great vehicle and no issues at all so far other than Apple CarPlay being intermittent. Sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn’t. They blame that on Apple, of course. On the other hand, using CarPlay is a non-negotiable for me, so it sours the experience no matter who’s to blame. The sales guy convinced me I wouldn’t need the nav feature upgrade because I had CarPlay, but when I’m driving in a dense unfamiliar urban area and it randomly disconnects, I wish I had the nav system.
