Used 2005 Scion xB 4dr Wagon (1.5L 4cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
Overstayed Its Welcome
The good qualities of the Scion Xb, lots of room and exceptional visibility remain. However, they are overshadowed by a harsh and noisy ride, and terrible gas mileage. I've tried everything, and the best mileage I can squeeze out of this car is 27 mpg in the summer and a ridiculous 20 mpg in the winter. Also, cruise control isn't available and the interior lighting is poor.
My new xB
It is fun to drive right past the gas stations. It handles well but gets blown around in strong crosswinds because it's so boxey.

I bought this vehicle for my business. The cute design has really gotten me noticed.
Great Commuter Car
I have only owned my 2005 Scion Xb for two weeks. A Scion is a rebadged Toyota. What sold me on this wagon was value for dollar. My Scion came out to $15,700 with local taxes. For that price I have an automatic transmission, power everything, remote entry, air conditioning with a filtration system, Pioneer stereo with MP3/CD and XM tuner, anti-lock brakes, and electronic anti-skid/traction control! This 4-door wagon is cavernous inside and has excellent all around visibility. Its fuel economy has been averaging 35 mpg/ It uses regular fuel. The engine is the 108 horsepower one taken from the Toyota Echo, which is rather weak, especially with the automatic transmission. It really struggles on hills.
FUN AND CAN HANDLE
THIS CAR IS FUN, BUT LACKS SPEED
