Used 2003 Saturn VUE Consumer Reviews
Two Differing VUEs
Drove an AWD and it sounded like it. The ride was rumbly, and truckish. Then drove the FWD with the V6. Completely different vehicle. Nice ride, quieter. Went with the V6, FWD, leather appointments, and got an excellent, high quality "station wagon". Excellent safety features, much better interior, and versitility. Best of all, 0% financing for 60 months, no payments until 2003! All this and Saturn's outstanding dealerships. Delighted.
Saturn Vue 2003
This vehicle is very roomy, comfortable, its features are easily accessible. The sound system is very good and there is plenty of room for purchases. The luggage rack that folds out is an innovative idea, too. The ride is smooth and it gets decent gas mileage. I've only owned it for a short time so I am unable to give any information regarding wear/repairs.

Switching teams...
Formerly a die hard VW driver (Passat) I took a chance in the SUV market. Researched like crazy and found the VUE to be best suited for my needs (single mom - 2 kids under 6 = lots of stuff to haul!). The VUE is fun to drive, econmical and the no pressure sales guys, got to love that. I refuse to go mini-van and this was the perfect solution. The kids love the rear seating (spacious with their own cupholders!) and I love the ease of turning (lower to the ground means less rolling). Totally comfortable. Spacious. Go for the sunroof, a MUST. Lots of bang for the minimal buck.
Beware
This is a really bad SUV. Do not buy, many things will break such as windshield washer pump, head gasket, oil will appear like a frappichino. All this will happen at 70K. This car is a total piece beware.
Saturn Vue
This vehicle attracted my attention because of the combination of its load capacity, daylight running lights, and fold down passanger seat. With the option of ABS it dressed out nicely. Good power for size and reasonable MPG. After test driving two other vehicles in this class I settled on the Vue. This is a fun vehicle to drive.
