Good value

Overall I am pleased with the vehicle, but am unsure abouth the dealership network. Our truck has had several trips for repairs and still am fighting an A/C problem quiting after 1 1/2 - 2 hours on the highway. If you shut the A/C system off for aprox. 30 seconds and turn the A/C back on all will be fine for the next hour until you repeat. Front suspensions is a MAJOR sore point with this vehicle. I am on my 3 set of struts after only 26,00 miles. Bad luck? I keep telling myself I bought an early production version and am paying the price for it.

I'm 6'4" and it's very hard to find a car that I can fit into. The Saturn VUE is a dream! I have plenty of leg and head room and I can fall asleep easily on the passenger side. My wife thinks it's the hottest thing around and she loves the green exterior color. We recently took it to Northern Calif. from Boise Idaho and had no problems.

Love this SUV!!!

Had a 2001 Ford Escape -- took a 2002 Escape to replace it when Lemon Law kicked in due to constant stalling. When the 2002 stalled, Ford wouldn't take it back, so we traded in with the 0% deal. Getting 22-23 MPG -- 6 MPG more than Escape. Love the drive, comfort and affordability of this SUV! Engine is a little noisy.

Happy with my Vue

I've had this vehicle for three months and so far I have enjoyed the Vue. I have the 4 cyl. automatic because the salespeople talked us out of the V6 saying it was getting horrible gas mileage. I don't believe the 4 cyl. gets much better. Nowhere near the sticker. That's probably my biggest complaint. The car lacks power, but I knew that when I purchased it so I can't complain. As for the interior, I feel it is well laid out, but everything is plastic. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this to others who were looking for an economical SUV. This would be an ideal vehicle for a young family.

Two Differing VUEs

Drove an AWD and it sounded like it. The ride was rumbly, and truckish. Then drove the FWD with the V6. Completely different vehicle. Nice ride, quieter. Went with the V6, FWD, leather appointments, and got an excellent, high quality "station wagon". Excellent safety features, much better interior, and versitility. Best of all, 0% financing for 60 months, no payments until 2003! All this and Saturn's outstanding dealerships. Delighted.
