Used 2003 Saturn VUE Consumer Reviews
Never Again
I bought at about 30,000 miles in 2006. Since then, have had to replace 2 wheel bearings- soon to be 3, the whole front axel, sensors, the ac sensor and $1500 in other parts, etc. Total of costs I have had to put into it are half of what I paid for car! Now I understand why Saturn cars are no longer being made!!! PS. I had problems with areas of car that were on warranty. I had car into dealer 3 times before warranty up cause I had problems...they waited unti warranty up to actually figure out what was wrong and wouldn't cover under warranty..Said it wasn't there warranty to make the choice.
What a Great SUV!
We've only had our VUE about a week, but it drives and runs great. I talked to many people about Saturn before making the decision to buy, but have been a happy camper ever since.

Lots for the money
As usual the customer service at Saturn is exemplory. The car itself is a great value for the dollar, better than any other SUV we looked at. Really like the no dent body panels as we camp a lot.
It's a good one!
I've never had a saturn before and heard they were good cars. I bought my vue several months ago and have had only two problems with it. There is a grinding sound when i turn the steering wheel left or right. And the gas mileage is not at all what they said it was. Overall, it's not a fancy car but it does it's job. I'm thoroughly enjoying the smooth ride and being able to sit up higher than a car!
Needs More Work
Chose 2003 Vue because of size and overall exterior design. Fun to drive. Lots of power, interior room. Bought this one after test driving a 2002. Poor color choice. Torque steer on acceleration could be dangerous if not expecting it. Engine revs too high during normal operation. Except for size, interior not well thought out ( no under dash lamps, map lights shine in your face, sun visors too small, etc.) No haggle dealer experience? Where else do you pay full retail ?
