Used 2003 Saturn VUE Consumer Reviews
could be better
great little car, but slightly expensive when fully loaded considering the interior looks pretty cheesy compared to it's competitors.little noisy, peppy 6cyl eng. great looking outside. they need to offer a sport package w/ larger tires/wheels,better dash and spare change and cup holders.Have heated leather seats that need better adjustments and should be electric for the price.
A different point of VUE
We have had our VUE for about 6 months and we are very pleased with it. The engine has a lot of power for it's size and is very responsive. We drive a lot of hours and the seats are very comfortable. Gas mileage is great too, we don't see a big difference between or VUE and the Civic that we used to drive. Plus, it's just so darn cute! However, this is not an off-road vehicle;if you need off road capabilities, look elsewhere.

I love it!
It's great! I love that I'm a mom with a car that my daughter can get in and out of (she's 3)and I can transport alot of stuff, but I can still have my funky steering wheel cover, and my fabulous little SUV. The seats fold 40/60 style in the back & you can fit anything!
a car that fits
being that I am 6' 3", 250+lbs, I was sold on the VUE as soon as I sat in it. I had sat in many oter makes and found them to be cramped.
aviod variable transmissions and 4cyl
I'll sum it up. At 60K miles, our engine blew up (literally). Saturn claimed it was our fault for missing an oil change. The car has had the transmission repaired under warranty four times. Twice it had to go back immediately after the drive home. It's my belief that the 4cyl VUE is severely underpowered, and the transmission was a failed experiment. The car hasn't been reliable, turns like a semi, has no acceleration, and doesn't get good gas mileage for what you'd think a tiny engine should.
