Used 2002 Saturn S-Series Sedan Consumer Reviews
New car experience
This care has overall been a good car. The complaints I have are replacing the roters 2 times and resurfacing a third (and this is in 30,000 miles)time. Yes I drive a lot but that is still is way wrong! Also the front seat has some part that clicks in and out which is rather annoying. The maintence schedule is also very expensive. If you drive as much as I do, can be a big bill every other month. If anyone can let me know about the brakes on these thing and possibly how to make them better let me know! Well thats about it!
Great as Toyota
I got it as a gift. I changed the battery and put Z tires on it. It handles great! I had a Camry but the great gas mileage on the SL2 is Incredible. Mine has cruise control and I use it all the time! It has a sunroof and leather seats. If it wasn't called a Saturn it would be considered one of the best luxury sports cars on the road.
great going
I have driven my Saturn all over Texas and it has proven to be a first-rate car. It is not very fancy, but it has stood up to 115 degree heat( with the AC on) traffic jams, mountain passes, blinding rain and wind and a good sized hail storm. My Saturn still looks and drives as good as it did the day I drove it off the lot. By the way, great sales and efficient service come with this car. Great fuel economy too.
Saturn S-Series
The first day I bought it, it started giving me problems. Lots of little electronic and mechanical problems. It is overpriced when it comes to overall performance.
boring car
I bought SL2 automatic. Big mistake. It has no 'pick up', it takes eons for it to accelerate. It is a boring car to drive, especially on the long road trips (no cruise control). Plain Jane, and not that cheap either...
