This car has been so reliable in the past 4 years that we have owned it. Everything works fine and I am comfortible in it. The only thing that I have run into is you have to watch the oil level between oil changes. The gas mileage on this car has been great. A 32 plus per gallon average on city and highway combined. I would recommend this car to anyone who would ask.

My third Saturn. Bought with first low interest rates after 9/11. Used dually for long highway and 30 mile daily r/t to work. Longer wheelbase than S series makes for more comfy ride. Interior amenities very similar to S series. Simple to plain interior suffers from poor fit/assembly. Coolant pump blew under warranty, had issues with engine electronics but this was addressed under voluntary recall. Saturn refunded my costs for original repair, no hassles. Saturn of Greenville is really great!

Saturn: so-so

After 50,000 km, the L is okay. Had to have the slave cylinder replaced during at 20,000 km. (under warrantry). Can't say I'm thrilled with the car. It's okay. Good room for my family of four and a decent trunk that is hampered by achaic trunk hinges that intrude. Passats gas hinges are better. The engine, though it receives raves, I find to be enimic. It only pulls around 5000 rpm, which means a lot of stirring of the shifter. The steering wheel is to big. Reminds me of a Crown Vic. I suppose this appeals to older target group.

L100 Limited Edition

My overall experience has been positive. My only two chief complaints are very narrow fronts seats and a slightly off-centered driver seat which seems to be misaligned to the right of the steering wheel by about half an inch. Although I am a male with slim hips, I can definitely feel the left edge of the driver seat pressing on my left side. Since most Saturn drivers are women, I am surprised that I haven't seen a single complaint on the web from women drivers about this.

Fun to drive

Love this car...Very smooth drive, has the pick up needed for normal driving. My first winter in the northeast (long and snowy) was no problem. Best buying experiance ever, friendly and helpful. 0% financing is always great. Room of enough for 4 comfortable, but not much more. (backpacks, car seat, etc. can get crammed).
