Pros
- Exquisitely detailed cabin with unequaled craftsmanship
- Immaculate materials quality
- Seemingly infinite degree of customization
- Commanding, traffic-clearing road presence
Cons
- Trunk is small relative to the Wraith's size
- Advanced safety tech is not available
What's new
- New optional Black Badge and Adamas collections
- Part of the first Wraith generation introduced for 2014
If luxury isn't cheap, ultimate luxury is likely outrageously expensive. And that's the case with the 2019 Rolls-Royce Wraith. This big, opulent coupe has a starting price well past $300,000 and could be one worthy use of your well-padded financial portfolio. But the question is: Should you?

With a new Bentley Continental GT coming to market, the answer isn't so clear. The GT is smaller and more responsive from behind the wheel than the Wraith and offers similar interior refinement. Bentley's rival also costs $100,000 less and features more up-to-date technology. The Wraith does have more presence, however, and the Rolls-Royce name arguably has more cachet than any other automaker.
Edmunds' Expert Rating
Which Wraith does Edmunds recommend?
For the classic Rolls-Royce experience, we recommend sticking with the standard Wraith. Of course, you can customize it to your heart's content, but we'd also suggest adding the Rolls-Royce Bespoke audio system (it sounds amazing) and the Driver Assistance Systems package to get adaptive cruise control.

2019 Rolls-Royce Wraith models
The 2019 Rolls-Royce Wraith is an ultra-premium luxury coupe that is also offered in a more sinister Black Badge model. A turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 (624 horsepower, 605 lb-ft of torque) is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. The Black Badge has the same engine, but it's tuned to deliver 642 lb-ft of torque.

2017 Rolls-Royce Wraith 2dr Coupe (6.6L 12cyl Turbo 8A)
Expect people to stop you and ask about this car. You will be seen driving this car. It is not a daily driver for instance you will not drive this car to Wal Mart. It's performance and design is the best I have ever seen. It is hand made with technology that is superior to most. The warranty is superior to most. It is covered bumper to bumper. It includes all maintenance. When it is time … for routine maintenance the dealer comes with a covered trailer and trailers it to the dealership. All maintenance is included for the first four years. Sirius radio with every thing is included for the first four years. I have had the car for over one year and absolutely no problems with it.
Simply the best

- Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go
- Maintains a driver-set distance between the Wraith and the car in front and operates even when the Wraith slows to a stop.
- Night Vision
- Displays a night-vision image in the central display screen that illuminates and identifies obstacles, such as pedestrians, at night.
