Goodbye, Ford...
I've owned Ford trucks for the last 20 years. If Ram keeps building their trucks like this, they'll keep me as a customer. You can't beat the value for money and I think they are the best looking trucks on the road today. I've owned my 5.7 4X4 express crew cab for a few weeks and couldn't be happier with it. It's the smoothest riding truck I've ever owned, has plenty of power and enough bells and whistles for me. The only complaint I have is the seats could be a little more comfortable.

The Batmobile of Trucks
My favorite feature of driving was the seamless shifting of the 6 speed automatic! The back seat is the greatest my kids and friends call it the Truck-O-Zine!

Love the truck
Headlights give poor lateral vision. Difficult on turns at night. Otherwise well designed vehicle. Sound system could be somewhat better. Off road package goes everywhere.

Does its Job!
My 2017 Ram 2500 was bought to haul a travel trailer with a gross weight 0f 10,000. I ordered it with with the Big Horn Package and added Nav and air suspension. It has front and rear sensors and is a new cab. I ordered the roof marker lights because they look cool. I have hauled with it from NY State to Texas twice and numerous shorter trips including Virginia, Pennsylvania, and several NYS campgrounds. I have had all the recalls done but never had a problem with them. I am dissatisfied with a weld to correct a steering problem that required a replacement part. The 6.4 gas engine and 6 speed transmission get me on average 9.5 mpg hauling. As a daily driver, not the best.It uses too much gas ( 12.5 mpg) around town and is a bear in urban areas, similar to all 3/4's. On the highway, 17 mpg is normal. Overall very comfortable, great ride and love hauling with it. Note 6.4, not 5.7
engine light keeps turning on
I have had the 6.7 deisel in the shop 4 times. 4900 miles on. the truck. Light comes on they fix something according to code readout. Take the truck back. Take out on the road light comes back on. Ground Hog day nightmare. What happens when I get past warranty. It seems to be associated with the emissions system. Replaced nox sensor last go around. This seems to be a huge ram problem. Go on the web I'm not the only one. The local service people have tried hard but they can't fix what Ram has built. The saga continues
