2021 RAM 1500 No Quality Control at Factory
I bought a 2021 RAM on 23 Apr 2021 and had it towed back to the dealership on 27 Apr (137 miles) because it would shut down in the road. They found no issues and by then it was running again. On 29 Apr (202 miles) it shut down on the side of the highway and set there for over 3 hours in the hot sun waiting for the Dodge Raodisde Service so to show up, They kept it 2 days and found the main negative battery cable to the frame was finger tight. On 5 Jun it went in for load air noise coming in the cab. Today is 6 July and they still have it and have replaced the windshield pulled the entire dash and heater core out and resealed it and today they pulled off the driver's front fender and they still have air coming in. I have asked for a replacement or buyback but they said it doesn't meet the level for a buyback?

Ram is not Ram Tough
A rock from the road took out my truck on the 21st day. How? The transmission pan is plastic and a rock punctured the pan. Ram and the dealership washed their hands quicker than sheet through a goose. Customer Service was terrible. Don’t buy the Ram unless you like plastic transmission pan. And, stay away from Northstar Dodge in San Antonio. They don’t care about u at all.

Two years in, no problems yet.
Bought brand new. Works great, wish the back seat was bigger but at time couldn’t find a few a crew cab so settled for a quad. Trade off is the bed is a little longer so all good. At times this has been beneficial. Biggest comment though is at roughly same time a coworker bought a new f150 which was also about $12k more. His truck been in the shop almost as much as it hasn’t. The ram has had zero failures. One complaint, some components underneath seem to have a lot more rust then you would expect from a only two year old truck. Otherwise runs well. 5.7 has plenty of power. -Warlock 5.7 quad cab.
Love IT
My 2021 Ram Classic with the V6 is a very reliable and economical truck. I had a Chrysler 300 (with the V6) and was so pleased with its performance I opted for the V6 in my Ram as the heaviest I tow is a utility trailer. Unloaded the truck delivers 27-28 mpg @65MPH on the highway. Loaded I get 18.The ride quality is good, always has been, I've had two rams in the past. Not a whole lot of road noise either. It's the Tradesman with the upgrade package, and four wheel drive. I'm very satisfied.....

Pleased
I traded my 2016 F150 for the ram 3 months ago, reason was a high monthly payment. The ford trucks are absolutely the best there is but their prices are high The ram is definitely better than any of the 3 chevys I owned so far with the V6 gas mileage is good and performance is decent from this motor. The ride is pleasant not super firm like the ford or weak like the chevy its pretty nice I leased this so we shall see ? Others I know have owned these trucks and keep going back to them . Its been over 2 years now and 21k on it . All is good no real complaints getting about 18.6 mpg and that's mixed driving . Highway will get close to 19.5 . Basic ram truck bit still much better than chevy!

Pleased so far.
2021 1500 Classic. This truck has exceeded expectations. Have only owned Fords to this point with good luck, but could not beat the price of the Ram new. Rides well and gets great gas mileage. ( V6 averaging arounf 21-22 mixed driving and 24 on a long road trip. No issues!
