Used 2010 Nissan Versa Consumer Reviews
A great compact
So last week I traded in my Chrysler Sebring convertible, and I am absolutely satisfied with the Versa. I wanted to trade the convertible for a more family oriented car. I wanted a car with good gas mileage, and at 35 highway without being a hybrid this car gets great MPG. I wanted a safer car, and the Versa has great saftey features. It is VERY room on the inside, trunk space is generous. Car has a smooth, quiet ride. For a 4 cylinder sedan it has some pick and go, it also handles the turns well. The A/C and heater are great. The sound System is great. My wife and I are completely satisfied.
Ten years later
Perfect car for me though i have low standards. My base model has ABSOLUTELY no extras. They are not handsome. It has unbelievable space, I'm 6' and have three inches of extra headroom (in the back as well.) That heighth gets pushed around by semis. Don't plan on passing anyone on the highway. The sheet metal must be aluminum. This all adds up to 39 MPG for me! Did i turn any heads? No. Did i get a incredibly reliable fuel efficient commuter. Most definitely. Would i recommend this car to anyone i know. No. With no pizzazz I have putted along at 57MPH for 200,000 miles (and still going) completely satisfied with this little car.

Would give Zero stars if possible
I purchased a used 2010 Nissan Versa 1.8SL with 110K miles on it for my teen daughter & son, they drove it 662 miles over 30 days. On the 30th day the CVT transmission totally went out. Having to pay $3600 for a new transmission, $100 more than we paid for the car. Nissan extended the warranty on these transmissions because of the major issues they had, went from 5 yrs/ 60K miles to 10 yrs/ 120K miles. I contacted Nissan to see if they would honor this warranty because they knew it was a problem, they declined to do so because we missed the timeline (apparently ended in 2019) even though the mileage was still under 120K. I will never buy another Nissan again or vehicle with a CVT transmission. If you’re thinking about it, DON’T, they are garbage. Most expensive mistake I’ve ever made!
2010 Nissan Versa S HB
During my last vacation, I rented a car that turned out to be a 2010 Nissan Versa S HB. I loved it so much, when I got back home, I went and bought one!
I’ve been happy with the car
My only complaint is the interior noise, the road noise and the comfort of the ride is poor. The dash is rattles and sqeeks. We can feel every little break in the roads. We are on our third set of tires and the ride is a little better and so is the road noise with the new tires. For what we paid, we feel we got good transportation at a ver reasonable price. If your buying a used one, be sure the air bags have been replaced, they are on the recall list. Now at 100,000 miles and the car is still running strong. I’m thinking of buying another one. Now at 115,000 miles and no problems, it just won’t die. 14 years old and still looks new. May be the last car we bought, we are in our late seventies and only use it to go buy groceries and the doctors.
