Used 2016 Nissan Sentra Sedan Consumer Reviews
Cheaply made to save money. disappointed !
It was a total disaster from the beginning. 1)transmission started to slip and car started to shake intermittently ,2)bottom carpet does not cover the whole area it supposed to cover so it is coming out everywhere,3) brakes are poor.4)trims insulation on all doors are sticking out.under the front bumper a piece of plastic came off. and I saw many Nissan Sentras have the same issue. overall cheaply made.To be fair the only good thing is the MPG.

3 year owner of the 2016 Sentra
Overall I love my car. It was bought with the intent of carrying my handicapped brother. There have been recalls on the air bags and wiring harness. I have had to replace the radio once already ( all this under warranty thank God) and I will be replacing radio 2 here soon again. My car has all the bells and whistles that honestly I have not utilized all of it. The radio encompasses much more than just a radio so replacement at my own expense will be very costly. I'm not feeling confident this new radio will last as long as it should. The drivers handle is falling apart and it's not as simple as putting a new handle on as it has a push button opening option. I have driven Nissan for years and have seen the decline in craftsmanship
Rust problems
I own 2016 Nissan Sentra and have rust problems in many places, I owned 2013 Sentra and had the same problems. Friend of mine wanted to purchase used 2016 Nissan Sentra, but decided not to because it had rust in the same places as my Sentra. In my opinion rust on Sentras is standard, not coincidence.

Iffy
Brakes started squealing at 8000 miles. Have problems when fueling as fuel handle shuts off prior to being filled up; Very disappointed door switches like power locks and windows do not light up at night. Too many noises over bumps

my red nissan sr after 8 mos and 14k miles
First has a cvt trans, bad news on this is change fluid every 60k very expensive 250 to 300 dollars trans fluid 19.000 a qt from nissan only and the cvt if it goes is 5700.00 to replace they don;t rebuild them. Gets great mileage and this yr cvt is greatly improved alot less friction less wt and should go 200k.
