Don’t buy!

I bought a Nissan Rogue on September 11th, 2024 and took position on the 12th. I drove it to work and within eight hours after the display screen was blank. That’s when all hell broke loose. In the beginning they tried fixing it, turns out there was no fix, the dealer and Nissan Corporation knew that. I left the vehicle and kept checking on it almost every day and they didn’t provide me with an answer because they didn’t have any. I was devastated, I was given the number for Nissan Corporation and they said they were not the one to contact. Hillside Nissan should take care of this. I tried changing the vehicle also tried getting a totally different model and they kept telling me there has to be a recall. I said from the beginning this would fall under the lemon law. They finally decided to change the vehicle but it would cost me 5000.00 because of depreciation and because there was no insensitive on the Kicks my interest rate would be 7.99%. I told the manager all that he told me didn’t make sense, I told him I was overwhelmed with grief the car is a lemon. I don’t want to go through with this car buying anymore. That’s when I said I have had enough. I took off the insurance, turn the plates in at the DMV. Now my credit is going to be ruined. Am calling Nissan finance and the credit bureaus to find answers because they at the dealership refuse to give me any credible answers after three weeks.

Best compact SUV for ride / comfort / quietness

2024 Nissan Rogue Platinum 4dr SUV AWD (1.5L 3cyl Turbo CVT)

Preferred not to lease another Nissan after leasing a 2017 and then 2020 Rogue. I initially planned to upgrade to a luxury SUV so I test drove BMW X5 /X3 / GLC / GV70 / A5 and all had some negative traits : lack of physical controls / hard seats / cheap interior / stiff ride...etc. I then decided to test drive a 2024 Rogue Platinum while I was in for service and was surprised at how comfortable and quiet it was. I recalled test driving a 2021 Rogue after the redesign and found it to be noisier than the 2024. A little known fact is that Nissan added active noise cancelling in 2022 and that explains why the road noise is so low. I actually found the BMW X5 with 21 inch summer performance tires to be only slightly quieter to my ear on a test drive.I ended up leasing a 24 Platinum for 2 years and so far am very happy with it, especially the low interest rate lease promo. I would never own one long term due to the complex variable compression 3 cylinder. Unfortunately because of all the electronic features on modern vehicles no new vehicle is immune to annoying problems and leasing is going to be the most logical solution for new car buyers as complexity drives up the cost of repairs

Value for Money

2024 Nissan Rogue AWD Platinum – A Smart, Handsome, and Money-Saving Choice When I was in the market for a compact SUV, I test-drove both the Honda CR-V Hybrid and Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE. While the CR-V Hybrid had a good driving experience, the RAV4 was too noisy for my liking. Pricing was also a big factor—Toyota dealerships were asking for a $5,000 premium for a quicker delivery, or I’d have to wait over a year. The CR-V also seemed a bit expensive. That’s when I turned to the 2024 Nissan Rogue AWD Platinum, which wasn’t on many buyers' radars due to past reliability concerns. But because of that, I was able to negotiate an incredible $8,000 discount on the on-road price. Plus, the Rogue was already at least $6,000 cheaper than the CR-V and RAV4, meaning I saved a whopping $14,000 upfront. And on top of that, my insurance dropped by CAD 140 per month, adding to my long-term savings. This was an absolute steal! Driving Experience & Performance Now that I own it, I can confidently say it was the right choice. The Rogue performs superbly in snow and hilly areas, which is crucial for my job. I haven’t faced a single issue, and it tackled Coquihalla Highway ("Highway to Hell") twice in snowy conditions with zero problems. Smooth ride – no lack of power issues Fuel economy – around 6-7 L/100 km on the highway, 9-10 L/100 km in the city Fantastic noise cancellation – Even at highway speeds or on rough roads, the cabin stays quiet Comfort & Interior The interior is one of the best in its class. Seats are superb, with plenty of legroom for both front and rear passengers Panoramic sunroof gives it an open, airy feel Bose sound system – not "wow," but definitely above average Looks beautiful inside and out And let’s not forget—the Rogue is a handsome vehicle! Final Verdict I have zero complaints so far. The 2024 Nissan Rogue AWD Platinum has proven to be an underrated SUV that handles harsh conditions flawlessly, offers a comfortable and quiet ride, and provides exceptional value compared to its competitors. And with the money I saved upfront ($14,000!) and the lower insurance costs, it makes even more sense financially. If you're looking for an AWD SUV with great features, a stylish design, and a solid deal, don’t overlook the Rogue! ⭐ Pros: ✔ Excellent performance in snow & hills ✔ Quiet and smooth ride ✔ Spacious, comfortable cabin ✔ Handsome design & panoramic sunroof ✔ Massive savings: $14,000 upfront + lower insurance costs ⚠ Cons: ✖ Bose audio is good, but not mind-blowing ✖ Not as fuel-efficient as a hybrid Would I buy it again? Absolutely. 🚗❄️🔥

New Rogue last month 5 miles on it

Last month we bought a brand-new S model rogue and are very happy with it. We only have driven 500 miles so far. It is very comfortable it does not feel like a 3 cylinder; it does have get up and go when you want to get on the freeway it feels like a 6 cylinder to me. We live in the south the air conditioning in this vehicle IS EXCELLENT. It's very comfortable>> my complaint is when you look to the left or the right there is a blind spot by that back window but the Blind spot monitoring is very helpful with that blind spot. We were able to pick up the last 2024 that the dealership had with 5 miles on it and received a $6,300 discount. I'll come back next year and give you more thoughts as we accumulate more miles we're very happy with it so far.
