Not What I expected
I was actually looking at purchasing one of these prior to renting on. I am in a new dealer supplied rental. Interior lacks shoulder and seat space. Cup Holders are in an awkward spot as you have to bend your arm funny to reach your drink. Needs more USB ports . Very loud drive train. Sounds like it should be racing around, but actually barely moving. Extremely underpowered. Wind bounces you around more that you would expect in a vehicle like this. And the car feels like it would go out of control very quickly. Steering wheel is great if you have long fingers. I struggle to grasp the size and slickness of the wheel.

Pretty good little car
I bought this vehicle used in Mt Pleasant, SC. Overall the Rogue looks good and has some good features, but at 26k miles I had 2 wheel bearings fail, 2 warped rotors, and a loud gyrating sound in the rear end at 40mph. The dealership found that the back wheels were out of alignment causing one of the tires to cup. They did a full alignment and rotated the tires to the front. The helicopter noise is gone now that the tires have worn smooth. The other problems were repaired under warranty All is fine and Im enjoying it.

I love my Rogue! True that blind spot is a hazard, but other than that, I am very satisfied. Great family vehicle. Fun to drive!

Looks great in and out but the driving is so so.
I loved the look of this car, especially the exterior, looks and feels like luxury. When I test drove it I have not noticed any bad things but noisy engine when accelerated. We settled on car lease and the first issue I got on my way back from the dealership . The windy day nearly throw me out of the line. I immediately realized where the good milage is coming from. The car is lightweight and doesn't stay in the line unless you keep the steering wheel tight with your both hands. Also the steering wheel is the stiffest I have ever seen. No way to drive with one hand at all. No way to relax and enjoy the ride when you have to keep the steering wheel insanely tight and make sure it stays in the line. The steering wheel is trying to return to it's original position all the time. And the drive is like wrestling to make car turn left or right or drive straight. I had lots of pain in my wrists after driving this car for prolonged time. That was the major reason for us to not consider this car after 3 year lease. Next compaine is the sound system. Second day I drove the car a bit longer and I got a huge headache. Eventually I realized how awefull the sound it. It has Bose lable and all speakers are working, but the sounds is tiny, like $10 speakers from Walmart. It is slightly better with xm radio but Fm doesn't even have a solid reception. Next bad thing is that I was not able to get into comfortable position for both my legs and hands. I settled on legs, raising the seat to the top position nearly touching the roof and give my hands some rest when I am waiting on the traffic light. But the seats themself are very well cushioned and very comfortable, both front and back. Another poor thing if when you stop the engine the sit goes back to further and lower position apparently for convinient in and out. I wanted SUV to not bend my knees low and now I do not feel it. Overall I love this car from passenger sit as the sits are comfortable angld the ride is smooth But I hate to drive it. My wrists hurt all the time if I have to drive it for a long time. The only mechanical issue I had is when I left the car in the sun at 100F and when I started the engine, all electronics have failed. I still could drive , but not use blind spot monitor which I really like and need or navigation or radio. The Mpg is good though, around 21 city with 26-28 highway. Once was able to get 33 on the highway. I would not recommend this car to a friend.

So good, at lease-end, we bought our Rogue!
We absolutely love our 2017 Nissan Rogue SL AWD w/premium and platinum packages. It has been supremely reliable, great on gas, extremely comfortable, spacious, can swallow a seemingly endless amount of cargo, is easy to own and drive, and everyone who gets in and experiences the beautiful light brown/black interior with the panoramic sunroof thinks we purchased a luxury car and can't believe it's "just a Rogue." Many who have ridden in our Rogue have gone ahead and either purchased their own or traded-in their CRV or RAV-4 for a Rogue of their own. Truly, we don't understand the gripe so many "automotive professionals" have with the Rogue, yet they endlessly praise the CRV and other more major players, when they're either not as good or, at best, perhaps at the same level. Biased much? Paid-off much? Seems likely, since the Rogue truly is a great car. Nissan did a great job with it. This is our third one! The other two were leases. Our 2011 Rogue, at lease end, was purchased by one of our best friends and it's still running flawlessly, to this day. And, we traded in our 2014 Rogue for our current 2017, at lease end, because of all the options and interior theme the newer model offered. Our Rogue was so good that we decided to purchase it at lease-end, since no other car hit that spot for us as much as the Rogue. The CX-5 is closest one, but the Rogue still tops it as its more comfortable, has a larger and more configurable cargo area, is better in the snow and has better fuel economy.

Long time Rogue Owner
On my 4th leased Rouge and the vehicle gets better every time I renew my lease. Went from a 2015 S model to a 2017 Midnight Edition right before Christmas..absolutly love my Grey Midnight Edition especially since our area received over 90" of snow right after we picked up our vehicles (wife went from a 2014 Juke to a 2017 Rogue Sport)..handles snow like a champ!

Rattle Trap
This car is too small and was a rattle trap with 25,000 miles. I drove the car for 2 weeks and found it to be very inadequate. Interior is low budget materials with distracting orange lights in the dash at night. This is very unacceptable. The car seems to be of low quality and would most likely not hold up over time.

High rpm when accelerating
I brought 2017 rogue s (8,559 M) on Aug 2018 at Nissan dealership. My problem is that rpm goes up 3000 when accelerating to go into traffic, even I speed up only 40 mph in local. It sounds very noises and feels like not speeding up. But dealer said it is normal. Did I buy lemon? I am really depressed.
Good on Tech but Bad on Driver Comfort
There are plenty of great Tech options available on this SUV but the most important aspect has been left out and that is "driver seat" as it is very uncomfortable. Mine is SL with Auto Memory seats and there are only 6 position memory so with my 6' + height and legs I am having a hard time adjusting to the positions coz there is only certain position I can change to, very frustrating. Its been 3 weeks and I can't wait to get rid of the car. My previous ride was Ford Explorer Limited fully loaded the only reason I traded in coz I crossed 60K miles and was filling up gas every other day due to 130 miles a day ride. But now I miss it I would have afforded it but I made a mistake. Secondly, the Chime Volume for BSM , Lane assist and Rear Cross Traffic is so low that u can hardly hear it plus it not as sensitive as Ford was. There are a lot of major issues Nissan needs to work on. It's a good car but Nissan needs to focus more on comfort instead of tech only.

never buy it again
I had problem with the roof rack peeling on my 2014 rouge. Since I use the vehicle for work I am past the mileage that is covered under the warranty. First asked the dealer and then filed a compliant with the consumer affair of Nissan USA. Of course they denied the claim to get it fixed since it out of warranty. This should not happen on 2.5 year old vehicle. This will be my first and last Nissan that I will own.👎👎👎 Also this is know problem with other customers. [non-permissible content removed]

2017 Rogue Transmission
New transmission required after 67,000 miles BEWARE! We will never buy a Nissan again!
Freezing in winter
There are not enough vents for the floor heater. My feet and legs are never warm. Took my Rogue to the dealer. I was told this is a common issue with the Rogue, and there is nothing they can do.

America wake up - stop buying shoddy SUV's!
Not all SUV's are created equal, and not all SUV's are worth buying - yes you can buy this car new for under $20k but a great price does not mean it is a great deal. I had the opportunity to drive the Rogue and, in today's competitive crowded SUV marketplace, the Rogue is simply outclassed by most of its rivals and for $20k, you have MUCH better options such as the RAV4. The Rogue lacks some basic amenities such as bluetooth or a backup camera. The powertrain, while meeting basic needs, is severely underpowered in today's turbo-charged world. Nissan clearly hasn't been investing in the Rogue while America makes this the #2 selling vehicle in the US (YTD November 2017) - I feel bad for the 300k consumers who have purchased this vehicle because it lacks refinement, power, convenience and checks a single box which is "SUV". Do not make your purchase decision on the fact that this is an affordable SUV because that is the only thing the Rogue has going for it.

I AM THOROUGHLY DISGUTED WITH NISSAN
My particular model has side view mirrors that rotate down automatically when car is in reverse. This is dangerous as I use my r outside mirror to navigate out of garage. Nobody can tell me how to disable this feature

Rogue to Rogue
This Car is great in all comfort categories and looks. Yes its not the fastest on the market, but when looking for an SUV its not speed we are suposed to be loking for correct? The Rouge offers a spacious gorgous intertior in all models especially the top of the line Premium platinum package which I own. This car is good on gas and reliable. I like Rogue so much I traded in my 2012 SL for a newer version 2017 SL model which I am in love with. There is a reason these vehicles are one of America's best selling vehicles.

Traded '15 Murano for '17.5 Rouge
As far as road noise the Murano wins over the Rogue but not by a lot. The Rouge sits taller than the Murano but the Rouge ride does not feel as solid as the Murano. All that said, I prefer the Rouge over the Murano. The overall cabin features and ease of controls, armrest, USB, etc seem easier to navigate to me. The rule economy in the Rouge is a big plus, it just does not use a lot of fuel in "Economy Mode".

Few things to complain about
I traded in a Ford Escape that the dealer couldn't fix in 4 attempts. I was really skeptical about the CVT and the quality of the Nissan brand, but the price and the warranty made me think I should take a chance. My mom has an Altima and she loves it, so I took the chance on Nissan. We have gone everywhere from Fort Meyers Florida to Moab Utah and back, and in all that time the only problems we've encountered are a squeaky rear suspension and a bouncy hood that can't be adjusted to stop flopping. We have 50K miles and so far it has been great. UPDATE: After 60K miles, so far the only casualty has been the driver's power window. It no longer automatically lowers and raises with a single push of the button. Also, the rear suspension has stopped squeaking on its own. Everything else seems to be holding up well. UPDATE: The only casually in 77K miles was a dead battery. Once I replaced that the window problem went away! It was a good, reliable daily driver with plenty of comfort and never let us down. Then one night a 12 point buck ran into it and destroyed it. The car sacrificed itself but there were no human injuries. We bought a larger SUV afterward due to needing more space. But the Rogue was a good car.

#onlythisrougeiscursed
I love the rouge but sadly must say this has no power to it and this particular vehicle has had a vibration behind the dash since purchasing that has only been able to be "insulated" not fixed. Other than those 2 things, I am totally a Rouge lover. Great size and options. But I had a 2010 AWD in the past and preferred the fact that when the seats laid down the cargo area/floor was smooth, flat, it slide boxes in and out of and to even throw a sleeping bag in for short fishing trips. All in all I will more than likely purchase another but be more critical each time.

Great SUV
Great on the road, handles the curves bumps, rough terrains and snow very well. I love the transmission selection ECO-SPORT-STANDARD and all wheel LOCK Mode! Very roomy interior. The back seat recline is a plus. As for the toys such as the radio, screen, traffic sensor etc.... to each there own. You get for what you pay for. I'm happy with my trim level.

My Rouge 1
I was looking for a SUV with good gas mileage. Found it here. I'm getting 28 mixed and 33 plus highway. The AWD works fine in Colorado. If I had to complain, it would be that it has no clothes hanger in the back to put my dry cleaning. Other than that the Rouge is nice for the price.

Loved it until it broke
My transmission broke on my 4 year old Nissan Rogue SL with the platinum package. It only had 60,835 miles on it! And of course the warrant was only for 60k miles so it wasn’t covered. Never buy a Nissan rogue

Wonderful
The Rogue is a great SUV, current one replaced an older Rogue. Says a Lot!
good so far
not sure what some of the low reviews are experiencing. have a 2017 rogue, bought it used with 22000 miles. it has 90000 miles now. the acceleration on mine is excellent. no problem getting on freeway or passing. rides fairly smooth. no clunks or shudders. my car was assembled in korea. everything works perfect, and no problems seeing(not sure what some people are talking about. all cars have blind spots. i did have to replace alternator at about 65000( not cheap ) but dont blame nissan for that. totally satisfied, but am concerned about the stupid tranny they put in these, cross my fingers. replaced tranny fluid at about 55000.

Nissan "Slowgue"
I test drive the 2017 Nissan Rogue SL. It had lots of nice tech features inside, and panoramic roof was amazing. I hated the lack of power from the sluggish 4cyl and cut transmission. The "mini van" body roll when making sharp turns was horrible. I ended up getting a 2017 Mazda CX-5.

Extremely Uncomfortable...... worst ride ever
Worst ride ever. The back seats are ridiculously uncomfortable. God help you if you are taller than 5'2. Seats are elevated so you sit higher than the fronr seats. They sit straight up and head rests lean forward. Can't adjust either. Very uncomfortable. Can't see anything out the Windows from back seat either because of angle of seats and elevation. Just awful. Front seats aren't any better. Stiff no contouring no room. I would NEVER buy this car. I've never been in a more uncomfortable car. Horrible

Drivers seat terrible
I purchase this vehicle for my birthday. First new car in 12 years. I have never had a problem with my sciatica until I purchased this 2017 Rogue. I'm trying to deal with it but I'm hurting everyday. I think it maybe time for trade 10/14/2018 Well I had to go to urgent care for the pain I'm experiencing from the drivers seat. I'm also going to orthopedic doctor for treatment. Will be making a trip to dealership this week!

Very Good Value
First off, I definitely like the Rogue better than the CRV. The front seat of the CRV felt very cramped to me. The side panel dug into my hips, and I could not stretch out my legs with the seat all the way back (Im 5'5"). The ride was also very bumpy, and it could not handle off roading at all. Overall, the CRV is just too much of a "mom" car. We would have liked a Mazda, but the cheapest price used with 56,000 miles was $22,400. We pay cash for our cars, so the $13,800 price tag of a used fwd Rogue SV with power everything, heated seats, backup cam, etc, and 42,000 miles made the Rogue a better value than the Mazda. It may not be the best car for long trips or camping, but thats what we have our Outback for. The Rogue is a great second family car, though.

Hate this vehicle
This vehicle drives hard, it’s slow to accelerate. I got it under lease terms and I can not wait to turn this car in, please do yourself a favor and pick something else.
Glad to go Rogue
Despite what some reviews may lead you to believe the Rogue is a great vehicle, versatile, roomy, dependable, efficient, comfortable and enjoyable to drive and use. I drove all the main competitors before I decided to buy the Rogue and I am very happy with my choice. Priced in line with its also well respected competition I found the Rogue with its standard advanced safety features suite to be the best all around. I love the all-around 360 degree camera views, blind-spot warning and rear cross traffic alerts. The camera system comes in very handy in all sorts of situations, so much so that when I have to drive other vehicles regardless of their price I am constantly hunting for more views! It doesn’t have the most powerful engine or slickest shifting mult-gear transmission but I am seldom left wanting any extra oomph and it is solid and stable even at quite high speeds on the freeways and holds its own when climbing all our hills in SoCal. I really haven’t found any faults with it. The only options that I probably should have gone for are the Bose upgraded sound system and the Pro-Pilot cruise control system that’s now available. The AWD system would have been nice too but I haven’t really missed it (my previous car was a late model German sedan with their race proven stellar AWD system). I grew tired of contorting myself like a pretzel every time I got in/out of that car so I really love the just-right height of the Rogue. Almost 3 years in and 30000 miles later still loving my Rogue!

Do not buy the NISSAN ROGUE
DO NOT BUY THE NISSAN ROGUES. I have a 2017 NISSA ROGUE which I paid off in the first year I bought it. This year (2018) I found that field mice were able to eat pieces of my engine hoses, then filters, then leave bite marks in the frame under the hood. When I bought this $30,000+ vehicle/SUV no one told me how susceptible it was to small animal damage. Small rodents ATE through the frame under the hood! - it has cost me hundreds already to repair small rodent damage. Nissan Consumer Affairs has told me that 1) On 26 Nov 2018, The rodent was not a part of their vehicle sold to me so they were not responsible fore it & 2) On 27 Nov 2018, They don't test such circumstances and are not required to test for such situations. The Consumer Affairs folks feel that what they don't know about through testing they don't have to fix. I asked them to trade me my 2017 for a 2018 but they said the issue is not fixed because it has not been identified as a problem through testing (Testing NISSAN does not have to perform). I will never buy another NISSAN and I will try to buy new vehicles that can ensure their frames can't be consumed by little mice.

Expensive power train replacement at 100k
My 2017 Rogue SV just hit 102,000 miles. It is well maintained and gently driven. The transmission went out suddenly, while driving on the highway. I've never had any other vehicle lose a transmission from normal use at such a low mileage without warning. Other than that, it's very comfortable and easy to drive.

Almost perfect SUV
I have the 2017 Rogue SL package. Great car in every aspect except the "premium" sound system. I had the 2015 SV version with the regular sound system and it was actually a little better. I have one malfunctioning speaker in the rear left door that needs replacement. Super comfortable to drive and so far, it handles rally well on snowy/icy pavement with my Goodyear WeatheReady tires.

Horrible heat
Aside from the horrible heater and the transmission occasionally not knowing what it wants to do I like it. It's 2017 and automatic headlights aren't standard?
Don't buy if you have cold winters
Love the car in the summer and spring as it does great mpg but thing will not start even if plugged in with a battery warmer and block heater in anything below - 17c.... Very sad. Cvt has held up passed 225xxxkms very comfy to drive. Just sucks that a the new vehicles don't run when you need em. My 91 Ford f150 will start in temperatures below 30 with out being plug in but other than that all around a good lol car not an suv by any means

Great car for todays prices
I’ve read a lot of bad reviews for this car and I have absolutely no idea what they are taking about. This car is great peppy and has lots of room as a family of four I couldn’t recommend it enough.
