If you are nervous about blind spots, don't buy this car! You will have to rely on only your mirrors for merging into traffic and changing lanes which scares the HELL out of me! You can't see out the back window! Seems like it whizzes thru the gas too and I barley go anywhere. Love the stick shift and the fact that you can pull the seat forward the old fashioned way using the lever under the drivers' seat. It's really tight up front with very little room for anything, especially a purse. If no one is in the car with you it's fine to put stuff on the passenger seat ie: purse/bags but impossible if you have other riders. In that situation, you might as well put your purse in the trunk LOL. I love the rear back-up camera and it is fun to drive but I did not test drive it on the freeway and wish I had b/c after reading horror stories about driving fast or going up hills/mountains, I was terrified to ever try it but my first time on the highway was much better than I expected. It was fine. One person said it quit on them going up mountains out west so I was a little scared but I don't live anywhere near a mountain anyway so who cares. My old 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan was a 6 cyl and I miss it to this day. My next vehicle will be a 6 for sure. I used to own a Honda Accord in my youth and it was only a 4 cyl too but I did think it was fun to drive so who knows. This car reminds me of that so much. The inside ceiling feels like cheap egg carton, I miss the fabric of my van for sure, esp. since I paid to get it relaid but the van is gone and I must accept it. Still wish I'd kept it and sold it outright however. I could have gotten $2,000 for it due to it's low miles and perfect upholstery but it did have many weird electrical issues. The Toyota dealership where I bought the Rogue only gave me a 300.00 trade for the van. Why didn't I fight that or just keep it? They said I could. Oh well, hubby wanted it GONE asap. Anyways, back to the Rogue, the whole thing feels cheap to me in contrast to my beloved van. Nissan might be reliable but it feels dirt cheap. The paint job looks cheap and the whole car feels like plastic cause it is lol. I recently, while backing into my curved driveway, smashed it into our yard bricks/fence but we were able to bend the back corner back to it's original state with the help of YouTube videos and a hairdryer. If I ever get rich, I will pay to just have the whole back bumper replaced. My car payment is $323.00 mo. thru the car dealership for 4% interest I think. I am going to just keep it and refinance it. It's worth keeping because I only put on maybe 5,000 miles per year tops and it will be a money maker someday like my van could have been :-( I don't care for the interior color at all but I will just have to live with it. I'm now used to using my side mirrors for merging. Impossible to see blind spots without using them but it's getting easier every day to trust those mirrors. All in all, I like it now.

I bought a used Nissan Rouge AWD 2013 in 2015. It now has 43,000 miles. I have not had any issues with this Vehicle. It is mainly driven around town. I recently took it on a 300 mile trip, i noticed it struggled going uphill to an elevation of 4000 feet.felt like i was loosing RPMs. I am not sure if it was because of the CVT. I can say it was a little scary.I really like driving this vehicle. I think it is a small town car. I think i will try something else in 2020

The CVTs on my 2013 Rogue is going , some surface rust around lift gate. Not a well built car, should of gone with a Toyota Rav or Mazda CX-5. Thought I was getting a good deal price wise, but had I known more about the issues this car has I never would of bought it.
