Used 2013 Nissan Rogue Consumer Reviews
2013 Nissan Rogue
At 108,000 miles, my Nissan's transmission blew with no forewarning or signs. I have been taking it in regularly for oil changes and keeping up with fluids. Reached out to Nissan Consumer affairs and they said they could not help me because I did not purchase an extended warranty on the vehicle. I have had a Chevy with 131,000 and Ford with 180,000, no problems. I am even driving a temporary Mitsubishi car with 156000 on it and it still is running. Went online to see if others had this problem and it is the case. The car was great until it hit 100,000 and it just went downhill from there. The air had broken down and needed replacing. I replaced all 4 tires when one blew thinking it would be going for a little longer. Then a few days later the transmission was gone. Total waste and if I invest any more money, I will be paying more than what it is worth and do NOT want to chance something else going wrong... not worth it and get rid of it before 100,000 if you have one!

Rip off
It's not worth it... you end up with a car that's not reliable and costs a lot of money for a repair that's not even guaranteed to last a reasonable time!! I bought a 2013 used Rogue 78k... had it 4 months and the cvt blew 4,300.00 to replace it. I brought it in 3 DAYS BEFORE MY warranty was up... Country Nissan Hadley Mass... told me it was me as a new owner of a cvt.. and nothing was wrong with it! 4 months later it blew! They said they didn't have it in their comp. That I visited with a complaint back during my warranty And my paperwork was missing from my car after the appt day... they said it was blown. Totally pist off and heres the kicker 2 weeks later and the codes were showing up for tranny again.

Saved my son and I
I love love love my Rogue! Gas mileage is awesome. But the safety of this vehicle is beyond awesome.. I recently was in an accident with my Rogue and the front impact bar was ripped out and front end was wrecked! But my son and I both safetly inside the vehicle. We both made it put unscathed. Not to mention we are able to repair and still drive my car. I would buy another Rogue no questions asked.

Cvt transmission is horrible
Bought car feb 2014 with 6,000 miles within 6 month brought to dealership complaining about loss power, lagging up hills. Seemed like transmission 3x they documented main complaint wasn't anything to do with transmission. Said was everything else that tranny was fine on their diagnostic machine yea ok!! Drove to PA from ct and loss power with gas pedal to floor had pull over let sit for while, that was only issue then. Few months later in warm weather could only drive for maybe 20 mins before tranny got too hot and would have pull over to let car sit. I called dealer back even though knowing the warranty was up but figured it could be put as a lemon car well they never documented me complaining about transmission I was pissed since I still have 2 more years of paying on it so last month I let them just repo the POS. I didn't know I could of called nissan but now know why previous owner also let car get repo'd. Never again with a cvt transmission let alone another rogue. Now car got auctioned off in new Jersey feel bad for next person with that nightmare. Really wish I read about the problems they had before I bought one.
