Love the van!
When my husband and I decided to purchase a mini-van to accomodate our growing family we began to research the Nissan, Honda and Toyota. After driving the Nissan we were sold! Not only is it the best looking of the 3 vans but the interior room is amazing! We can now easily accomodate everyone with plenty of room to spare. Some of the reviews posted were negative (doors that rattle, awkward instrument panel, and other complaints) but we have not seen any of these issues with ours. What we have found is a terrific van that looks great and is easy to drive.
Air compressor was frozen
This Quest was bought brand new. We took it on the first long trip vacation and the air compressor was frozen and belt was torn. We had to deal with Nissan service for the first time and it was a bad experience that I never had with a such low mileage (616 miles) and the air conditioning was being used the first time. I had another the chance I don't ever buy Nissan car again because of the service attitude.

i highly recommend this van
we've had the van for 3 months now and love it. It's an eye catcher, drives really smooth, has plenty of power and interior space. The gas tank doesn't fill up with 20 gallons but 16 so that saves us on gas allowance. I've been recommending the van to everyone that asks what is it and answer all their questions because I've also researched all the vans for a year and a half before we bought it with 5000 dollars off the sticker price. It was the best value for the high quality. Odyssey too overpriced and overrated, T&C/Caravan too unreliable, sienna not flexible enough with middle seats not able to fold down, and Sedona too heavy in total weight not flexible enough and unknown.
After more than a year of ownership
I own this van for a little more than a year now. I am please with it. It never gives me any problem. The engine is smooth and powerful, and reliable in the rough weather. The entertainment system is great.
You have to buy one
We just came from a 3200 mile driving vacation to the east coast and back to Kansas. Our van performed excellent and almost matched the rated mileage of 25 mpg. we got 24 mpg with the ac on, averaging 70 mph, and having the van fully loaded with people and cargo. We were happy about that. Also, all of our family that saw, rode in, and drove the van were very impress with the comfotable ride, power of the engine, roominess of the interior, and the cool design. No problems with the van whatsoever.
My German Quest
I bought my Quest in Washington, and then we got stationed here to Germany (we are military). I used to hate vans, and never thought I would own one. But after looking at it, seeing that there is a 5 star crash rating, and all the little extras the Special Edition has, I bought it, and I have no regrets! I LOVE this van! I take it on the autobahn from time to time and I got up to about 120mph w/no problems. I love the strong horsepower, great for passing cars on these little German roads. This van is not sold here in Germany, so I get stared at by the Germans everywhere I go, and have gotten countless compliments. They are most amazed by the power lift gate.
Constantly Fixing
I've owned this 2006 Quest for the last 7 years. It is uncomfortable. It is constantly needing repairs. It is noisy. It gets poor gas mileage. In addition to needing frequent repairs, the car is designed in a way that complicates all repairs and maintenance. At 100k I've already been through 4 alternators. Each alternator replacement requires hours of labor and the removal of radiator and battery. The electronic displays in the dash frequently do not work. The car averages 13 mpg. This is a poorly designed and executed vehicle.

First Mini-van
Air compressor was frozen on the first trip (350 miles away). Spend your own money on hotel and food if you don't buy the Security+Plus package.
