Used 2006 Nissan Murano Consumer Reviews
ENGINE BLOWN AT 88,000 MILES!
Found out yesterday that the vehicle love of my life has dying engine and blown front and rear exhaust manifolds.....estimate for repairs....$13,000! Engine had less than 1/2 quart of oil after 3300 miles since last oil change. Sick to my stomach. I've loved everything about this SUV and have taken impeccable care of it - mechanically, interior, exterior. Just last week had 2 different friends ask me if I got a new car!

FANTABULOUS
I absolutely love this car. Very comfortable as the driver; and get lots of compliments on how comfortable the back seat passengers are. Excellent "road trip" vehicle offering extreme comfort and dependability.

even better!
I bought the first Murano in 2003 an loved it. Decided to trade it for a new one with all the gadgets. Navigation system is wonderful, as well as DVD. The car is much quieter and feels more refined than the first model. That improves the fun of driving it, as long as you like quiet, comfortable cars. Would recommend it to anyone. By far the best SUV for the price!!!!
Hands down best value in its class
I have been a loyal Nissan owner for 16 years. I have owned 3 Maxima's including my current 2000 Maxima SE. Without a doubt the Nissan Murano is the best bang for your buck if your looking for performance, comfort and a distinct driving machine. We chose the base S model which comes with a load of standard equipment. We had the Factory leather seating surface installed at the dealership for $700 dollars more. We ended up saving $1800 doing it that way since the leather packge is not available on the S model. I highly reccomend this Crossover SUV to anyone looking at a Lexus RX330. You will save thousands and get even better performance. The 345 Horse Power CVT V6 is a dream. A great Car!!
Absolute rattlebox- don't buy!
I traded in a 4Runner for my Murano just over a year ago and wish I hadn't! It didn't take long for the Murano to develop rattles. Seems like as soon as I figure out one rattle, another one starts. It has a very rough ride and it makes the rattles that much worse. The car does look nice and has some nice features, but those are the only positive things I can say about it. I was hoping for great gas mileage, but it has been a big disappointment. I get 19-20 mpg on the highway. My husband recently purchased a 2004 4Runner with a V6 for himself and so far, it gets better gas mileage, has a much smoother ride and has way more room. Do not buy a 2006 model!
