Used 2003 Nissan Murano Consumer Reviews
Wonderful in ice ans snow.
Wonderful design. Love the CVT. It handles on ice as if it were sandpaper- -true grip! I still get stopped after 10 months by admrers who want a "tour".
Not Good if in an Accident
It was in a little fender bender. No air bags deployed; the car that hit me and my car were only going ten miles an hour but the repairs for my Murano were over $8000. My car was hit on the driver's side on the edge of the bumper. From the outside it looked like only the bumper was damaged, yet the battery encasement holder was pushed into the transmission and a whole new transmission was needed. Am wondering if this was just a fluke, or if these cars are just fragile.

Prons & Cons
Great handling and smooth ride. Fuel efficiency is best in class with 21 MPG in highway at 75 MPH (probably better at lower speeds). CVT transmission is a definitely plus. Great stability in all types of surfaces, very comfortable and quiet ride.
A Must Have!!!!
I have had this vehicle for over three weeks and I still can't wait to drive it everyday! I was a little sckeptical of the tv ads, but once I saw it in person and test drove it I was hooked. The Murano has plenty of power and a smooth drive with plenty of head and leg room.
Nissan Murano 2003
Great power, acceleration and ride - very fuel efficient on long trips - have owned the car for 3 months now, and have nothing to complain about. The CVT is smooth and gives low rpms's and noice. Navigation system is great, good screen quality, even in sunlight. Spacious design.
