Solid Car

Have driven the car about 2,500 miles both in the city and on the highway. Highway mileage about 28 mpg whether or not I use the recommended premium fuel. Best mileage was 33 mpg -- worst 22 mpg. Good power. Comfortable interior for 4 people. Sunroof is great. Trunk a bit small -- can fit 1 large suitcase and 3 small ones. Overall, am quite happy with the Maxima.

Nissan Maxima: An Outstanding choice

I have owned a 2010 Maxima SV for ten years. It has been on the autobahns in Germany, the winding roads of France and Italy, and the highways and back roads of America. This is a very special car and it performs wonderfully. The comfort and economy is fantastic. I cannot yet imagine what I could buy as a replacement.

2010 Maxima SV - A Review after putting 15K miles.

I bought this Maxima at 80k milex approximately for a grand total of 10k. It was a great deal as the car came fully loaded. The acceleration, power, braking and driver comfort are great. I bought this car in a MidWest state and had no issues driving on flat roads. I relocated to the East coast and drove my Maxima all the way and it did great. However, with a month of driving on the East Coast Potholes and bumpy roads, the right front strut gave up! The spring failed and I put some money to replace the front two struts and the rear shocks along with bushings and control arms. I know it was a premature wear but after changing, the car feels and runs like new. However, when I hit bumps, there are little noises from the rear which I neglect by turning up the radio. The cabin noise is pretty low but sometimes I feel Honda or Toyota cars are more silent. It is a very stable car for cruising cross country and wont give a body ache. Seats are very comfortable and has a 6 dof adjustment which is great! The milage is pretty low in the city. It gives around 18-19 in the city and 27-28 in highways. my car shows an average of 23.5 mpg. Overall, a great car with all the necessary luxuries.

This car has get up and go

I drive over 45,000 miles a year, my Maxima was purchased 9000 miles ago. Past cars include a 2002 Avalon, 2005 TSX and 2006 TL. These 2010 models were all included in my new vehicle search. During the test drive, the ride did not stand out like the Avalon or the TL, but it wasn’t bad. Both the Acuras I owned before were extremely responsive vehicles and had a great feel for the road. The 6 speed transmission and the quietness of ride stood out for the Avalon, but it was bland. It was really tough to steer away from 2 car manufacturers that proved outstanding reliability in the past. Each of those 3 cars had over 150,000 miles. In the end, I just wanted a change and have no regrets!

Hands Down Best Car I've Ever Owned

I have owned three Maximas prior to the 2010 and this is by far my favorite. The features are comparable to that of a $50,000 luxury sedan. If you are on the fence, go with the Nissan. Best buy for the money!
