SNOW NO PROBLEM!!!!

Let me say I live in New Jersey and our winter's can be brutal or mild you never know. In the past I've had cars that were just terrible in snow and ice so much that I'd lose days at work because driving was just not an option. So I decided that I finally was going to buy either a Jeep Wrangler or something with AWD. After going to Jeep and they not being willing to come even close to my price range, I decided to take a look at the Nissan Juke. I was sceptical because it looks like an insect and rather small inside but when I walked into the dealership there is was in the color I loved fully loaded so I drove it and bought it. We've now had 2 good snow storms and last night I really tested my Juke in the snow. Drove on one of the worst mountainess roads in the middle of a snow storm and it being 16 degrees. As nervous as I was my Juke didn't skip a beat, not one time did it slide, loose grip or anything. I drove for 4 hours and nothing, drove perfectly in AWD. So I have to say I am completely pleased with my Juke and the AWD.

My 2015 Juke SV

800 miles so far. The manual shift mode is great allows you to downshift without hitting the gas and run thru the simulated gears. I have run sport mode briefly, basically it kicks up the CVT 1,000 RPM's and you get a lot more torque, but the gas bill will skyrocket! I am getting somewhere around 30 mpg which is great. The seats are firm as is the ride, the tires are great. I'm single and not concerned the back seat is cramped (so is the new Jeep Renegade's, I picked to Juke over that for performance reasons). All in all I am happy. Waiting on y new K&N air filter to further enhance performance. I run premium gas, it does a better job and I am not concerend about the extra expense at 30 mpg.

I drive 150 miles a day, and this great car makes it easy. Passing on the interstate is never an issue, just tap that gas peddle and she zooms. The Juke is not for tall or large in stature people though, it fits me perfect but I am 4'10 , my son had a hard time getting in...he's 6'2. She does amazing in the Colorado rain and snow, driving in the mountains is easier with fantastic handling and maneuverability. Storage is limited, but I added my own, some of the knobs and trim are cheaply made, but with just me in it, I won't have a problem. I absolutely love this zippy fun AWD crossover, perfect for a commuter!

I have driven BMWs, Toyotas, and all the rest and the 2011 JUKE has been the best car for me. I have 30k miles on it and literally have not had a single issue. This car handles great, has super pick up and power and is by far the most reliable car I have ever owned. Hats off to Nissan on this one! They did everything right. And by the way, I am 6'5"and my son is 6'6" and the front seats leave plenty of room. Buy what you want, but at least I told you my JUKE story.

The Juke is a tiny crossover that looks like a cyborg frog. Yes. We've known that for years. Get over it. Appreciate it for what it is. A ridiculously fun to drive, easy to park, efficient, weather-versatile vehicle. It has a small interior that "seats" 5 but only if the backseat is occupied by kids, supermodels, or thin people. 6 footers won't have much legroom, but if you frequently drive around tall people, DON'T BUY A TINY VEHICLE. Get a Rogue, it has tons of legroom, and is much more boring to drive. The Juke has plenty of shortcomings, but for single people or childless married couples or small (in size) families it's fine. Being a tiny SUV makes it super easy to park, especially with Nissan's awesome around view camera system (on SL models). It's fairly fuel efficient, the Rockford Fosgate sound system has lots of bass, the touchscreen Nav is easy to use, and the I-CON system is fun to play with. The Turbo really kicks in around 2500 RPM and stays strong to around 5500 RPM. Now to explain the bad things. The door panels are cheap, like one step above the Versa. Which is pathetic for a $27k vehicle. The Sentra, for $6-10k less, has a higher quality interior overall. The dash and console trim are okay, but could be better. The optional armrest should be standard. The car is sometimes too tiny. Headroom in the backseats is suitable for a 6 footer, but not legroom. The Versa, again, at nearly half the price, offers an armrest for the rear seats. The Juke doesn't. While the Rockford Fosgate sound system has great bass, the mids are just average and the highs lacking. The AWD model's 11.5 gallon fuel tank is inconvenient, as it's hard to make it to 300 miles on one tank. The biggest issue to me is the lack of a telescoping steering wheel. It's like the seating position was designed by literal monkeys. You either long-arm the steering wheel to drive with your legs in comfort, or scoot up two or three clicks on the seat track and have your knees and ankles feel uncomfortable after half an hour. The shortcomings don't take much from the whole package though. The Juke is a nice vehicle.

I bought the first model year Juke in 2010 and kept it for several years before trading it in for a Mazda CX-5. I thought I needed more cargo space. The CX-5 was an excellent SUV but was boring to drive after the Juke. I recently bought another Juke (2015) and noticed a big improvement over the 2011 model. Gone are the interior creaking noises. The whole vehicle has a more solid feel. MPG is improved. The Juke is not sports car fast but is faster than peppy. Maybe zippy fast is a better description. It handles very well, especially with the AWD-V selection. AWD is a must in snowy Michigan. The interior is very comfortable for my 5'9 body. All controls are easily accessible. Sort of reminds me of driving a go-cart. Biggest drawback is cargo space but it is enough for my needs. The front headlights were a little weak but I probably became used to the CX-5's HID's. I fixed this with a bulb change.

We did not plan to purchase a new car. We just started looking. Then we saw the Juke. Everything they said about the car was true. The car handles great, looks great. No problem with space. The car is smaller, so I did not expect it to haul like a big car. Transmission great. Mileage is a nice value too. My husband and I could not be happier. On December 18, 2015, I had a small accident in the Juke. I damaged the transmission pan along with some other undercarriage parts. It took till January 30th 2016 to get the Juke back because parts could not be found. We were having it repaired by AL West Collision. Because it took so long, I asked if we could have a loner car....no. car rental went over 1000.00 dollars. I figured only fair to at least split the car rental as the accident was my fault, but having no parts and literally having to wait on production, was not my fault. The repairs were fine other than the extreme wait. Car is still great, but I would have the availability of parts for cases such as mine. Or offer a loner car if parts cannot be located. UPDATE March 18, 2017. We now have had the Juke about 19 months. The car is still as wonderful as when we first bought it. The Nissan dealership asked if we were wanting to trade as they were looking for good trade ins. We thought about it for a split second. ....Why should we. We are more than satisfied. Great car!!!

2015 Juke Nismo (Silver)

The car drives good, and it is fun to drive as well. Dealer support (Auto Nation in Miami, FL) was non-existent; had to get service from a different, and very good, local Nissan dealer (Bill S.). At 10 months and 11000 miles, the intake manifold had to be replaced at no cost (other than the toll cost of the loaner provided by the dealer); it took several trips to the dealer to determine what the problem was, and about 7 days to get the whole thing resolved. At 2 1/2 years, both key fobs had to be reprogrammed at an out-of-poket cost of $135; this was not covered by the warranty. Overall, not worth the price: . low-tech for the price .ridden with multiple minor and not-so-minor electrical and mechanical issues . you must use premium gas, which it uses like there is no tomorrow . poor Nissan warranty; did not cover the reprogramming of the key fobs . The experience at Autonation Nissan of Miami-Dade county in South Florida was THE WORST ever, from sales to service! Pros: it is quick and fun to drive I traded the Juke on 10/2018 for a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road (= unmatched reliability) before the warranty on it ran off. Nissan = never again!<br>

i have the juke for 2 days now and it is really fun to drive. The only think I didn't like about it, is the oxygen sensor decided to go. Other than that the car is great. I drove on the highway and got about 40mpg. Unheard of. Drives great. Now it's fixed and no problems.

Its July 2019 and I still have the Juke. I have about 55,000 miles on it and it’s still running good. Still no big time issues with it. Gas mileage is still great and I can’t complain. The only downsize is the space but I usually put the backseat down. Besides that I love my car! *updated review* it’s now 2018 and I’m still satisfied with my Juke. If you need a lot of space I wouldn’t recommend this car. The space is limited . The gas mileage is still amazing. I drove from South Florida to GA and I only filled up twice. Barely any issues with it . The only thing is the awkward hand rest. The car comes with some amazing warranties so that’s a plus. I would still recommend this car. Updated 01/20/18* I am very satisfied with my purchase of the 2015 Nissan Juke S. For the base model , the car comes with a lot of technology. I has a Honda Civic DX which was reliable but the parts were expensive. The gas on this car is crazy!! I drive 30 miles in total on the highway to work everyday and my gas goes a long way. The back seats are a little cramped , however, I am a mother of one so its perfect for us. I highly recommend this car.

Great little car for 2 people. It has a sport - style suspension. If you want to drive your living room sofa, then this car IS NOT for you. I enjoy a nice stiff suspension that puts you in control of your every move. The vehicle is very responsive to driver input. I thoroughly enjoy the ride capabilities. Great car for street and highway driving. Mash the go-pedal, and it really winds up and goes !! The back seats are adequate for 2 extra people, but you don't want to spend much time back there. Difficult to get in and out of the back seats. My kids are grown and out of the house - so I don't have a problem with that aspect of the car. Just plain fun to drive. Sporty, quick, and very responsive to driver input. Still having lots of fun every time I get behind the steering wheel !! Just hit 83,000 miles. The only single mechanical problem encountered since buying this car brand-new in 2014 is that the A/C evaporator coil in the dashboard went bad. Paid the local Nissan dealership to replace it. Living in Florida does take a toll on the A/C system. Still a really great little car to cruise around in !!!

This is a fantastic car for the money. My overall mpg this summer has been 33.1, with a lot of highway miles. It corners marvelously, and is very quick. Some of the interior materials feel cheap, and it is noisy on the road. Well, noisier than a bmw I suppose. I can still hear the sound system just fine.

I like most of the Juke. Unfortunately the interior lighting is not up to par. They didn't think well in the cargo area in that the light is at the low end and if you put things in there it will block the one light they put back there. Also the interior as in back seat is non existent. So overall lighting is in the front of the car pretty much only. The tires when new are good, but since it's so light as they wear the Goodyear's tend to hydro plane a little in the rear. Probably a better tire to deal with water might keep this in line. Gas mileage is good and I do love the turbo when I can use it. Eats gas. Storage space is at a premium. I had the Rogue before and it was more designed to store things. The Juke could have the same but they didn't incorporate it like the Rogue. It's low to the ground so if you are tall you will not enjoy getting in and out. Good to be medium sized or short. Most on the road won't respect you either for the small car. Just a heads up. Maybe I should put a Smith and Wesson sign on it. As I said it is very fun to drive. Love the turn radius. It's excellent. No need to back up to make the turn again. No issues yet on anything else. Only had one year so far.

I got my Nismo Juke 4 Years ago, I would say its a love hate relationship. What lead me to the Juke was that I wanted an automatic, all wheel drive vehicle that was a crossover. If you are considering buying a Juke, you need the warranty..Once my warranty expires, that Is when I will trade the vehicle in. My transmission went at 68k... I was upset because I have never had a vehicle that had a tranny go with such low miles. Overall, this thing is a beast in the snow, quick acceleration, and styled to my likings. But this CVT trans is a nightmare...

Harsh ride ! My other car is a Nissan 370Z and it rides better and quieter. Every interior panel rattles over rough pavement. Make sure to test drive over rough pavement if you normally drive on it. I didn't big mistake. Complicated climate controls, 12 buttons and 2 knobs that also function as knobs. And the display brightness is independent of control of instrument cluster dimmer and can only be adjusted while parked. No storage in console. On the plus side good MPG and performance. nice sounding stereo.

I bought my 2015 Juke Nismo in 2017 with 23K miles. It now Jan of 2020, and I have 80,000 miles on it. I absolutely love this little car. Live in flat Texas, so I took a vacation to Colorado, and this Juke didn't disappoint in the mountains. Turbo + Paddle shifters made me a happy mountain road driver. On some of the back, desert roads of TX I'm able to get up to 120 (and over) mph. I thought that was pretty good for a 4 banger. I drive about 70 - 100 miles a day. Car is comfortable, radio sounds good. Never have a problem passing that slow truck, or the idiot driving 55 in the left lane. Have not had any issues with the car itself. CONS: Wish there was a USB charger in the back seat area. Wish there were lights in the back seat area. Wish I could fit more luggage. Wish the gas tank was bigger. 2021 - Now I've got over 88K miles on the car. Thanks to COVID I am under 100K. Juke is still running great! Averaging around 32 - 33 mpg. I like to drive 80 on the freeway, and still get great gas mileage. Once in a while my electronic HUD messes up upon ignition. Like 1% of the time, very rare. But when it does, I just have to let it play out. Restarting the car doesn't fix the problem. Still wish there were lights and USB charger in the back area. Would really like a better middle console.

Cars got pickup, drives nice, got alot of compliments on it. Cell phones arent going away, so why not make a specific spot for one. Move the cup holders. I understand from my passengers a couple more inches leg room wouldn't hurt. And most important of all, seriously you couldn't find a manufacturer who makes quieter wipers....that slap slap slap could get on anyones nerves. I believe Nissan is a very well made vehicle, quality and style is there, love my "Juke-box" (except for the wipers). Update, also alittle more elbow room wouldnt change the cute look of the Juke either.

It is a very unrefined vehicle and possibly defective. It is in the dealer shop now with under 2000 miles . Gas pedal vibrates when accelerating. Techs admit it is abnormal. Also brought car in to have noisy rattling engine checked out (they said its normal). The brake pedal makes a loud clicking noise when used. Windshield wipes dont always come on automatically when activating washer fluid. Car very occasionally struggles to start engine. Traded in the car for something else.

I have had my Nismo for 1.4 years and has 13,189 miles on it, the transmission is already leaking, it's so far up in there I can't even see where it's exactly coming from. The dealership will have to basically remove the whole front end of the car to remove the transmission and repair this leak, which I'm sure will add to more leaks from all of the tear down and reinstall, don't buy this car. The car was repaired and so far it has been doing well now.

Loving my Juke

I love this compact SUV! Finding a parking spot is so easy because it is compact, and the gas mileage is great. I love ❤️ the look of the SUV because it is different. It is a look where as people either love ❤️, or hate it. I do have somethings I do not like about the interior. The backseat has poor leg room. The arm rest between the driver and the passenger is too short and useless for me. When I'm driving and want to charge my iPad and plug it in my USB port it cuts off the radio because it's looking for music, and since I don't have any loaded on my iPad I have to drive in silence. I purchased a pre owned certified vehicle so I love that the warranty is 7 years/100,000 miles, which is longer that the new vehicle manufacturer's warranty. Now for the exterior. I love the color which is Bordeaux Black, and has the 2 looks. Depending on the way the light hits the vehicle, or if it's raining, the vehicle looks like the color of Bordeaux wine, or it can look Black. Since I have the Juke S, it is the basic model, so I'm going to add on Nissan's Crome Accessories to add some flare to the vehicle. All in all I feel like I made a great choice in buying my pre owned certified 2015 Nissan Juke S in Bordeaux Black.

One of kind styling, well until last month when everybody bought one. Let's start inside. The carpeting is a lot like a painted piece of cardboard, no power seats? Really? The A/C is so bad, we live in NY it is 85 out, air conditioning has been on for an hour. It is o.k. In here, but any warmer and it will be warm inside too. I would feel bad for anyone in a really warm climate. . The XM radio cuts out about every 45 seconds, so irritating. The Bluetooth phone is o.k. But irritating to repeat over and over, phone...call mom... navigation is irritating too. One has to be stopped in order to enter a destination.stupid so on to performance, using the term loosely, hesitation is so irrigating, no power, turbo is for what, looks? Last time I had a transmission acting like this it was low on fluid and needed a rebuild. oh, and it rides lil a box of rocks, you feel every bump and seam in the road. Our ford explorer rides so much better. And that is a truck platform. best day driving this vehicle will be when someone crosses into my lane, so it will be totaled, and their insurance will buy it from me.
