Used 2015 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab Consumer Reviews
"Wannabe"
I was looking for a truck that would replace my present vehicle, the one that I have driven successfully for 44 years. I doubt that Nissan would qualify. The six cylinder engine has an iron block - but it has aluminum heads - so given the different rates of expansion/contraction, head gasket failure was inevitable, eventually. The "timing chain" was much better than the "timing belt," but Nissan has faulty timing gears and a poor rating for servicing what they build - another negative. After rationalizing these detriments, I could not get a manual transmission to go with the six cylinder engine, which soured the deal completely. Lastly, I was left wondering what the parts/repair situation would look like fifteen years from now, so I have opted out of "new" trucks, and I will be looking for something older that "may" be more durable and offer me a few more good years. "The jury is still out" on the benefits of "older verses newer" and on "which truck might serve my needs." It may be a bit like looking for a Baptist preacher in the Vatican - doomed from the start.

MIXED EMOTIONS
Just when it reached the 90,000-mile mark, all the electrical (cruise control, airbags, Bluetooth, and radio control) on the steering wheel broke. We paid approximately $350.00 for the repair. It hurt me bc I hadn't even finished paying it. However, It is a nice size truck for a lady, Not too low and not too high. I owned a Jeep Wrangler for 14 years. Took it all over Texas and it gave me trouble until her 12 anniversary with more than 200,000 miles on it. I think the next vehicle will be a Jeep.

Poor service techs/Bad experience overall
I am writing this as my frontier has only 87,000 miles on it not even approaching old truck status in todays standards! I did all service intervals as suggested by manufacturer and now the truck has check engine light on it after Concord Nissan servicing it I've been going back and fourth with them only to find out their not fixing the check engine light problem! They must be just turning the check engine light off without properly fixing the problem now I'm out 2,200 dollars and no solution! I'm left with contacting the state of California DMV office and all appropriate agencys about this which could take a long time but oh well I'm bringing them to court!!!!!!
