Used 1999 Nissan Altima Consumer Reviews
Problem Free
I bought the car new in 1999. Drive 100 miles a day to work and back. Absolutely no problems at all. Cruises nicely at expressway speed (or slightly higher.) Comfortable ride that seems to get better as you add more passengers. At 6-4, I'm definitely at the upper limit of who the cars was designed for. Engine has been great! With 112,000 mi, I've replaced the front brakes once, the tires once, the serpentine belt, and a $.99 hose clamp. Not bad. Interior is the epitome of conservative, which is nice because I haven't gotten sick of looking at it.
Are Altimas Made by Duracell?
I purchased this car 3 years ago w/ 1900 miles on it. I replaced my 92 Accord EX with this vehicle (which by the way the auto. transmission began to slip @ 115K). Other than dealer faults I am proud to have the experience of owning a Altima. I have an Ultra Red SE Limited w/ almost 78K. All I've done is changed the oil and filters on it. I love the rich look of the interior dash layout. I would recommend diehard Honda owners(like I used to be)to give Nissan a second look. Less maintenance runs great!!!
great car!
great all around car, i'll probably buy another altima when i am ready to purchase another car.
Greatest Car I've owned!
This car is reliable, comfortable and and overall joy to drive. I've had the car for 3 years, purchased it used with 39,000 miles and have never encountered a mechanical problem. I would recommend this car to anyone!
Got To Get This One
I bought this Altima used. It was coming in off of a lease. It stills runs good and sounds quite. I would recommend this car to anyone. It handles wonderful and has great pickup. I got everything I wanted and more love the fog lights especially in the mountains at night. Great gas mileage also. Easy to handle. Fun to drive. I feel like a race care driver at the INDY 500.
