I bought this car brand new from the lot, no mileage. I 've had no problem with it. I love to take it on the road, I gone 100mph without even realizing the speed. It will get you there in no time! I wouldn't trade it for anything. This is a car I will forver keep and drive. Tge gas mileage is excellent. It is a five speed ....and drives good. No major problem. I change the oil, and rotate and balance the tires regularly.

I will never own an Eclipse again. I had the car for 8 months, and I put $12,000 in the car, JUST TO MAKE IT RUN! My transmission went, then the engine went. But, I loved the car so I decided to fix the problems, and start for scratch. Horrible idea. Brakes.. Bearings, Power Steering, everything. I was the only person that liked the car just for the exterior. It's small.. and it had the worst squeak I've ever heard (Which I had fixed 3 times)

I bought a 1999 Eclipse GSX in the summer of 2001, white w/ black leather interior. The 1999 version of the eclipse quite unique in that it offers standard limited slip differential, anti-lock brakes, and, for the first time, has a black leather interior option. Now for the good stuff - this car is easily modified to 400+ HP and has possibly the strongest 2.0 liter 4 cylinder ever built. Total investment into my car is just under 20K (including the price of the car!), and I am running 4 second 0-60 times. Ferrari performance for pennies. What a value!

Make sure that you ask about the disposition fee they charge you to turn your vehicle in just you paying for them to sell it again VERY expensive. maintanance is outragous many local auto shops will not work on a Mitsubishi,problems with their parts and trying to obtain parts which is near impossible. many of the parts break or need to be replaced just as the warranty expires on them. Very unreliable company and car not really worth it AT ALL. looking at well over $1000 just to turn my car in!

nice car for upgrades..if you want all-out speed and excellent handling, this is the car.. i've got flowmaster exhaust/tips and greddy turbo and intercooler with a few extra little things (..) and i've gotten up and over 200mph more times than i care to remember. although i wish i had gotten leather, the cloth seats are still quite comfortable. and the cockpit-like inside is interesting but fun once you get used to it. overall the best car i've ever owned..
