Used 1993 Mitsubishi Diamante Consumer Reviews
1993 Diamante
Overall this is not a bad car. However, the paint doesn't last, the seats are coming apart at the seams, and the automatic transmission is real troublesome. Also, this has to be one of the least aerodynamic cars I have ever driven - it gets about 18 mpg around town and about 20 on the highway.
What a car
this car has run like a lion for 10 years and still going strong. Fabulous car, hear the roar when you accelorate...great car
Strong & Reliable
This car had 214,000 miles when I bought it, didn't expect to keep it long, but I really enjoy the ride, room and power the engine still possesses. It now has 228,000 miles, still needs valve guide seals and a tune-up, but it still gets me where I need to go. I will be taking it in for the necessary maintenance/valve guide seal replacement, and see how many more miles it will go before I wear it out. I have not had any brake problems, I drive sanely and am aware of the physical limitations of physics and properties of matter. No more A/C and the heat/defroster turns itself on whenever it wants to, It is haunted!!
piece of garbage
This car is the biggest money pit i have ever seen. In the past year, I have replaced the engine, transmission three times, fixed an oil pump, and a leaky fuel injector. Don't buy this, its not worth the trouble.
Fantastic Car
This is a fantastic automobile. I have owned it for about 9 1/2 years and it has over 128,000 miles. It has been very very reliable. The only thing I have had to do other than normal maintenance has been a water pump, valve cover gasket, CV boots on both front, and a couple of weeks ago it developed a transmission fluid. The brakes have been remarkable on this car. I replaced the back brakes for the first time at 107,000 miles and the front brakes for the first time at 117,000 miles. I have never needed a front end alignment. I am on my second set of tires, the first set lasted almost 70,000 miles. The best driving car I have ever had (Camaro, Skylark, Supra).
