Roof top air has had to be fixed 3 times in the last 2 years. Motor fan inside replaced. Def fluid hose went bad. Clutch fan needed replaced. No gauges for the def fluid until you are low. And no way to measure it so you just guess. Lacks power up hills. Burns through headlights every 6 months and I don’t do much driving at night.

It’s everything we need

Our 2015 Sprinter passenger van has been our family wagon for the last 7 years. We’ve accumulated 130,000 miles thus far and it’s been our best family rig thus far. We drive 20,000 miles every year, many on the freeway for vacations & appointments out of town. It’s been very low maintenance, requiring an oil change only every 20,000 miles, which is annually for us. The oil tests show that we could go twice that distance, but every year is fine for us. The Sprinter has proven handy for pulling our VW Golf behind, for its service appointments out of town. The Sprinter, w/ the V6 diesel has returned good mileage, as high as 25, but usually around 20 mph. It has been comfortable on the longer road trips. On the downside, the rear seats are heavy & require an engine lift to install & remove them. When installed, they occasionally rattle over bumps. They do not recline. On the positive side, these seats can be replaced w/ much better aftermarket seats that do recline and will work with the current floor anchor points, they just cost 💲. The Sprinter handles very well on our twisty highway roads and it has proven surprisingly sure footed even with strong gusty cross winds. Over all, we love it.
