I purchased this car new in Stuttgart, Germany and have been very happy with it. So far, I have had no problems with it and it handles very well in heavy snow where I live at 9,000 feet in the ski areas of Colorado. I make frequent trips from here to Denver and it handles well on I-70 during heavy snow as well as on dry roads. I am happy that it has the 6 cylinder engine instead of the newer 4 that is now offered.

I LOVE my 2015 E250 Sport
I bought my 2015 E250 Sport with bluetec for a great price at $45,000(that is after registration). These are the sepcs of the car. Diesel inline 4 cylinder, 196 HP 369 ft-lbs. @ 1600 rpm 28/40 MPG combined 34. I know Edmunds has it listed at 27/38 but that is incorrect. I am in love with this car and I am happy I purchased it. It has more than enough power and I love the fact that it is a gas saver. These cars are very popular in Europe, because they are efficient. I am also a German American 6f 1 and I have plenty of room. The performance is also excellent, you must understand you are not buying a Porsche. I would recommend this model to anyone but I would get it pre owned because new these cars are over 60K.

My last diesel
Purchased as a CPO in 10/2018 - I had recently lost a 2007 Bluetec with 200k miles when the trans vomited itself on the expressway off ramp fortunately a mile from home and MB dealer that gave me bad news re repair cost (appx $6700). Since that was more than street value for the car I sold it for what I could get. Fast forward to missing my oil burner diesel. This car is comfortable, impeccably well built, drives confidently in all conditions, and performs with aplomb. It now has approximately 118,000 miles, with a recent national road of about 8k miles covering elevations from sea level to 11,000 feet garnering overall fuel economy of just under 44 mpg with highway cruising at 75-80 mph performed at about 1800 rpm just a breeze. Car averaged an astounding 49.5 mpg on an over 1000 mile segment from western MT to SW Wisconsin - a heroic tailwind and no traffic issues helped while driving at a consistent 70 mph on primarily two lane blacktop in the Dakotas and Minnesota..The negative is the Bluetec system which turns what ought to be a simple diesle into a complex mechanism that requires adding 2.5 gallons of Diesel Exhaust Fluid at each oil change; MB conducted a major recall that essentially "bulletproofed" the system at no charge for what I was told was about a $2k upgrade. I also received as a result of a class action suit a check for $3800 for any issues that may accrue as the result of owning this otherwise great car. I change the oil every 5 k, usually myself as it is a piece of cake with a front and top mounted filter, and am on top of fuel and air filters every 30 K and any other scheduled preventive maintenance that in many cases can be easily performed by a semi-handy owner. Since MB no longer brings in an auto diesel due to the draconian emission requirements, this is the last of the breed. You'll see me cruising quickly, cleanly and quietly by on some byway of North America for many years all whilst getting 40+++mpg of diesel.

Mechanical nightmare
I bought this car 2 years ago and it's been a nightmare 1- the sun roof got stuck open 2- the driver and passenger door windows stopped working 3- how to replace the battery and reset the computer 4- how to replace two tire sensors 5- how to replace a part in the steering column because the steering wheel would not adjust 6- and now I'm dealing with when I go out to my car after work and it's hot the computer screen scrambles in blue sometimes but for me to take it in to get checked under the extended warranty it's a $250 copay dimension all those repairs I paid out of pocket this will be without a doubt my very last Mercedes they're on and off the road mechanical disasters but everybody tells me they're safe yeah they're safe cuz you barely going to drive them because they're in the shop too much
