I could not be more pleased with this car, It is my Porsche, and I am truly considering owning AMG-Badged Mercedes-Benz cars instead of the car from Stuttgart, that I have longed for my entire life. The car is simply amazing. I have taken it out on the track twice now, and have been extremely pleased with its poise and track prowess. I am a very proud CLK55 owner, and have no intention of selling it.

an absolute disaster...I've driven lexus for the past 10 years and decided to try the CLK. It was in the shop constantly, the door fell off, catalytic converter, gas tank problems, you name it. I traded it in for a lexus.......good riddance!

Fast, Slick, and Rare

This is my first MB. This car is really fast. I love MB's understated sporty look. It is a really slick design that will stand the test of time. Engine has tons of torque, and it handles like a dream. It may not be as tight as a BMW M3, but the ride quality is second to none. It is the perfect blend of smooth ride and great handling. I took a chance on buying one because the reliability ratings are not that good, but so far no major problems, and nothing I've had to go to the dealer for. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

My 2003 Mercedes CLK 320 Convertible

When I purchased my 2003 pre-owned smoked silver Mercedes CLK 320 convertible with 19" chrome AMG rims and low profile tires I knew I was in for some major fun. The first thing that caught my eye (other than the glimmer of the rims) was the way the top retracted neatly into its space then dissappeared as the rear cover closed. The look of this car with the top down is by far the best convertible look I have ever seen. The exterior lines are true to a well designed Mercedes and the interior look does not lack at all in design but I prefer less plastic. The 265 HP engine speeds you smoothly around anyone in your way and the electronic shifter supplies you with the added hill power when needed.

There are a few minor problems with my new CLK500. I had the first car which arrived in the Bay Area. I guess the first production batch always has some little problems. With the all of the special new features, new body look and 306 horsepower performance engine, I don't care about all of those little problems! Enjoy first then worry later!

Handles very well...and is a blast to press the accelerator and let it rip... Many features… I think the new body style is much sleeker than the previous… Loves the instrument panel>>>back to “Classic” Mercedes style!

Fine production performance vehicle though a little small and with the CLK 500 I am finding there is too much power for this car. 320's 220 hp is fine. The 302 hp of the 500 is too tempting all the time. Otherwise it is a beautiful auto, of fine engineering.

The only MB chosen by a long time BMW enthusiast. This piece of driving jewel not only rocks solidly but catches all eyes w its AMG design wheel/grill/apron. With not much of dollar difference, 500 definitely beats 320 by miles and by all senses. A true machine to enjoy and a great value to take on as investment.

This car is my first Mercedes -- I was checking into purchasing an SLK and was told of the waiting list.... I was about to leave the dealership when I noticed that a new car had been wheeled into the showroom. I liked the way it looked, test drove it and bought it a few minutes later. It has sufficient acceleration at highway speeds, it has style, and it is easy to drive. After spending a year driving this car daily, my wife's Lexus feels like a collection of parts travelling in roughly the same direction. <g>

I traded a beloved BMW-540i for this car and have not had a moment's regret. I love the handling, tight chassis, ergomonics in the cabin, but most of all the smooth power the V-8 pours out on command. Everything is refined about this car, even in the way it delivers almost unlimited power.

this machine is absolute fun to drive and sometimes you regret getting to your destination because the ride has to end.... Grantet you could get some good deals for $55,000 and people at Mercedes could try a little harder to be professional especially in the parts department.

I have a SUV for 5 years and decided to get a small car because my oldest daughter is driving now. I did very little search because the first car dealer I went was the Mercedes. I fell in love with the CLK and I liked the elegance of the 320 and no other car could change my mind. From my sales person to the deliver and the exitment of driving "OZ" (that is what I named him) I'm a very happy customer, thank you!

FIRST LET ME START THAT I SPENT A FEW MONTHS CHOOSING THE RIGHT CAR FOR ME. THE ISSUES WERE DRIVING IMPRESSIONS, HANDLING, QUALITY OF THE RIDE, STYLE, COMFORT(ESPECIALLY THE DRIVER'S SEAT), EXCLUSIVETY. THE CONTENDERS WERE BMW M3 (COUPE), LEXUS SC430, BMW 540 (M SPORT PACKAGE)AND CLK500. AFTER TEST DRIVING ALL OF THOSE CARS, I BOUGHT THEE CLK500. IT EXCELS IN ALL CATEGORIES LISTED ABOVE; ESPECIALLY THE QUALITY OF THE RIDE (MOST LIKELY BECAUSE OF THE NEW SUSPENSION) WHICH IS SIMPLY AMAZING. THE M3 IS A PHENOMENAL CAR, BUT FEELS STIFFER AND MORE ROUGH. SC430 FALLS BEHIND THOSE TWO.

I don't know what others are talking about when they give bad reviews about the CLK 500. Maybe they just bought one that had not been taken care of. My CLK 500 hurts a lot of drivers feelings on the interstate. The power is awesome and the luxury features meet the standard. However there is the cheap plastic trim above the door that evryone talks about, but you show me a perfect car with no deficiencies. My car has 19' chrome wheels with 265/30's in the rear & 235/35 in the front. It definitely looks intimidating. It almost takes the fastest 5-series BMW to make me sweat a little.

This CLK is the best one I've ever driven, even though it's my sister's she let's me drive it alot I love the way it hanldes the curves and I love flying through the corners, this make me wanna trade in my 1995 500SL. This CLK has a 302hp- V8 and I just love how it purs, anyone who says they don't like it doesn't know luxury.

Having owned a CLK 430 Coupe (V8, 275hp) for 3 years, I thought nothing could rival its quality, performance, safety, reliability, and design. But, Mercedes has exceeded all expectations again in the redesigned CLK 500 Coupe. Quality remains the same, the options are amazing. 8 airbags and other safety features are incredible. Please note that MB has super heavy duty bumpers-- the bumper cover is what you see damaged in testing. The car is incredible--pride of ownership and a joy to own. Mercedes treats customers with respect, quality treatment, and quick fix, if necessary, regardless of length of ownership.

I got it used in Queens. couldn't resist it's styling in and out and when i took it out for a test drive, it was amazing. Superb handling and performance at the same time. I cannot be more satisfied with this car other than for its gas mileage. I just did a drag on it and got an impressive 5.02 sec 0-60mph! always room for improvements. Thinking about few Kleemann parts here and there. Overall, lovin' it everyday since the first day.
