Bank Vault on Wheels
The crash test photos tell one story, shutting the door and hearing this amazing thud makes you believe that this car is SOLID. Every control and button has a great feel and there are rich textures everywhere. The C300 has a nice throaty exhaust note when rev it, otherwise it is extremely quite and smooth. I love the scratch resistant paint, MB Tex that looks and feels real but it will not wrinkle and requires no additional care. With the 4-Matic I could drive through deep snow and ice without worry. Coming from a comparable BMW the Benz feels like a much better product. Not to mention you are NOT forced to live with Run-Flat tires that only last 12k miles and cost $300 each to replace!
Great car
I purchased a 2010 CPO C300 4Matic in 2014. It had 22k when I purchased it. As of today, the car still looks and drives like new. The odometer just changed yesterday to 77,600 miles. I’ve had one major issue over the last 12 years and that was replacing the primary door lock module. Aside from that, I’ve maintained it per the vehicle maintenance schedule and have had no other outstanding problems. I am now retired and have owned mostly new cars throughout my life. This is the best vehicle I have ever had.

My 1st Benz
Bought my first Benz, a 2010 300 Sport 4matic. Was considering Acura TL SH- AWD and BMW. Mercedes dealer gave great price for certified pre-owned, and extended warranty. Acura was faster, but overall Benz is better looking, great handling, comfortable and great quality. I've put around 1,500 miles on it so far and no complaints. It's quick, but not FAST, but you can't beat the ride and handling, and 1st class exterior looks. I wish they made the C350 in 4matic, then it would be perfect. Currently getting around 19 mpg around town with pedal down, averaging 21 - 22 mpg in mixed condition, and have gotten up to 25 mpg on mostly highway driving. Smooth acceleration / 7 speed transmission.
When Mercedes was built by Engineers....
Mercedes and... Ursula Andress were the objects of my fascination when I was 12. I will not comment about the (then) stunning Miss.Andress, but the Merc was the symbol of style and mechanic perfection. The new C-Class has enough refinement to lure customers: with the new design tries to convince the BMW customers to switch to a different proposition. Larger on the outside than the previous model, feels small and cramped inside. The front of the car is appealing, while the back is the result of the involvement of the accountants :- ).Driving over 60 mph brings wind noise in the otherways quiet luxurious cabin. the car handles well, but the steering is uneasily soft and un-engaging
Poor quality workmanship for an expensive car
I bought this car brand new at 0 km, the interior quality wears out very quickly, it is made of poor quality materials. The leather seats are poorly sewn and has ripped on me after 3 years of usage. My car stereo has had problems, sometimes it turns on, other times it doesnt even turn on, it is very randomly as to when it works. Most of the issues I have been encountering has been RIGHT after the warranty expiration of 3 years. I have had older cars made by Honda and Acura that have lasted longer and have kept their quality. I would not recommend a mercedez benz if you are looking for a luxury high end, it is not worth the price.
