exceptional value
Fun to drive in town and interstate. Have made 2 2000 mile trips and the seating position for me is less fatiging than all vehicles I have owned.Fairly strong engine for vehicle this light in weight. Very tight, no rattles. I live in midwest and have to swap tires in winter for better traction. Did my homework, and found Falcon to be best for snow and rain. Have added stainless steel roll bar and Racing Beat stainless steel muffler. Plan to keep.
My 2004 Miata
I have never purchaced, nor owned a more fun-to-drive car than the Mazda Miata. It handles curves effortlessly, has excellent road manners and the styling is superb. Its nimbleness allows easy maneuvering through tight city traffic.

Excellent Car
I had a Saturn SL2. The car handles tight corners, avoidance manoeuvers superbly. Interiour is well thought out, nice materials. The transmission shifts very smooth and precise. Trunk is small, but better than MR2 Spyder. Overall quality and finish of materials is very nice. Longitudianl engine, easy service. The Mazda VVT and longer stroke make the 1.8L powerplant feel more powerful.
A must-drive before you buy
Wow. I thought the "fun drive" thing was hype, but I was wrong. A real joy to drive. I drove them all, Porche Boxster, Audi TT, Nissan 300, BMW Z-4. Thought I was going to get the Z-4 until I drove the Miata....AND I can get my golf clubs in the trunks - NO OTHER CONVERTIBLE COULD DO THIS - and its about 60% of the price of the Z-4.
2nd 1 and still love it
best bang for the buck
Awsome
The Best Car Ever!!!!!!
the mean machine
extreme turning, add a turbo-charger to it and it will keep up with the new corvette. as it is, it can take over a lot of cars on the road due to it light weight design and rear-wheel drive. its a very fun car to drive. if your really interested, you can now get a MAZDA SPEED version which comes with a turbo already. a test drive will sell the car. have fun!
Get One
If you like to drive, get one. I bought mine for what I call a steal of a price for such a fun car to drive. If you get one and donot have this feeling, go to the doctor and find out what's wrong with you.
Open air driving excitement
This is my other car. I've been wanting to own a miata since I first test drove one in 1995. However, I was a student with no income, so no car. I've been driving a SUV for past 5 years. I got this miata for my birthday and it is FUN. I love the handling and open air driving experience. The design is very nice, reminiscent of the old Jag E- types.
Fun, fun, fun
Have had a Miata since 1989. Still the best deal in a roadster around. You can spend more for power and automation but you can't have more fun for the price.
Great Car
I just got this car, I have had it 2 weeks the best to drive and the coolest car I have ever had!
I LOVE my Miata!!!!!!!!!!
It will take corners very well and is so easy to drive. It is a beatiful little car, and always depenpable.I get 31 miles per gal. on the highway-better than I had expected. It is a great car!
Watch Your Top
We love our new car. It has been a lot of fun. There are two things that I don't like though. 1. It is very hard to see with the top up. Everywhere is a blind spot. 2. After having the car for only two weeks, I noticed where the glass is in the top the glue used to seal the fabric was cracking. Everytime the top was put down it would pull apart more. I took it to the local Dealership and they took the window out and resealed it. Hopefully this works.
Top selling sports car
Classic roadster, very nimble. Lacks power, but release of turbocharged MazdaSpeed will fill void. Or additional horsepower is readily available through aftermarket supercharger or turbocharger installation.
mx-5
Performs beautifully. No mechanical problems. Goes smoothly through curves. The car is generally liked by onlookers. Went to several countries in this car, had great fun. The trunk must be packed with care.
my opinion if it counts
fun fun fun a car that is just plain and simply a fun car to drive
great car
fun car to drive, great economy for the dollas spent
This my second one and I will get a thir
This a great car...more fun under 60 mph than any car I have ever driven which includes the Audi GT Coup...Porsche 944....BMW735iL...MB CLK320. The car can turn on a dime, keep its traction [except in very cold weather] and gets compliments anywhere I go.The price is a home run but the fun is too much to put into words.
great
I love My MIata!
Zoomie
Great fun to drive!
Just plain fun
This is one fun car. It is what a convertable is supposted to be. Be careful, however, mixing it up with a SUV or a semi-truck is not going to help your health or the appearance of your Miata. It has an excellent power to weight ratio and handles like you think it should. Just plain fun!!
My "WIND-UP"
It is a joy to get in it and feel the mini-power. And the good feeling I have while I am in it.
Car Puts A Smile On Your Face
I Love my car. What can I say. It makes you happy when you are driving it. Wish they never change a thing about the car. Why mess with perfection. I may seem bias, but go into a dealership and drive one, chances are you will either lease it or buy it.
Our Midlife Crisis
We are 58 and 62 and were in a weekend rut. Last July 4 we bought our red Miata convertible and have spent every nice(and some not so nice)warm weekend exploring within 200 miles of home. The gas mileage is 28-30 mpg. In September we plan to drive it to New England for a two week trip.It is easy to drive and reminds us of the MG B we owned in the 60's. We belong to a Miata club and have been on several rallies. Most of the people in the club are either very young, or our age. This car is fun for anyone...our 16 year old granddaughter has her eye on it!
vinny car
as a second car to work or fun this is the best
Love my Miata
It's not the fastest car on the street. But, I didn't buy it to be fast. I bought it because it looked good and it never stops giving me pleasure. Everytime I get behind the wheel, It's still feels like the very first time...
great roadster
It's been a blast! Value is the bottom line and this is it.
love this car
