Fantastic SUV

We have really enjoyed our CX-90 S Premium. Beautiful design inside and out. Handling is superb (feels like driving a smaller car) and acceleration is impressive, especially at higher speeds. Infotainment is a little clunky when not using CarPlay. Safety features are nice and have saved me from a couple crashes. It’s been through a few recalls, but otherwise no major issues. Overall very pleased!

Drives like a Champ!

We purchased the PREV model as we wanted a larger SUV for occasionally hauling larger groups, and for carrying wine cases from our winery, and for the occasional road trips. At the same time we wanted spirited driving as we are coming out of an Audi. Lastly we wanted to do our part from an environmental perspective so getting good gas mileage was important as well! Our CX 90 has checked all the boxes and delivered on them as well! I read some reports on early production recalls however our late year production model has been flawless! Lastly - this vehicle looks great as well!

not the best choice for me

I like the acceleration, the AC, the seat blowers and that many of the controls are push button, not screen. I don't like the radar stuff. The vehicle decides where it will drive, when to use the brakes, how fast it will go when using the cruise control (slows down if coming up on a vehicle before you can change lanes), beeps at you constantly in heavy traffic and the foot activated tailgate opener opens the tailgate when going over steep road entry from parking lots (tailgate is broken now from the time it happened).

Pleasant Drive Smooth Ride

It's a little sportier than the 2021 Honda Pilot Ex I trade it in for. The Cabin is quiet in the highway and the ride is smooth. I'm looking forward to getting a better MPG for practically the same size as my previous vehicle.

The best car I've ever owned

In July, we bought a CX 90 with the straight six and, in the six months we’ve owned it, it has been nothing but a delight. A couple of niggles though. I turned off the lane kept assistance and warnings—they were overly sensisitive and would beep WAY too much. Fortunately they can be turned off and they don’t reset every time you restart the vehicle. Next, around town, I started to use the sport function which bumps up the throttle response and takes care off acceleration lag. Ok, now to the good stuff. The seats are VERY comfortable. The Bose stereo sounds teriffic and the car handles better than any SUV we owned. It feels planted and stable on the road and the brakes are well modulated and stop impressively. The materials, fit and finish are all excellent, save for the rear interior hatch cover which doesn't click down—it just sort of rests on top of the compartment. Not a deal breaker but it does feel a little weird—especially since the rest of the vehicle is so well put together and thought out. Following are my ratings on a scale of 10: Engine: 10/10, Transmission 10/10, Audio System: 10/10, NVH: 10/10, Workmanship: 10/10, MPG: 7.5/10, Quietness: 10/10, Handling (for an Suv) 10/10. Prior to this vehicle, we owned three Honda Pilots and prior to that we owned two Pathfinders.
